I have been using Weber grills for over 35 years and know that it is the best charcoal grill on the market. I even thought/dreamed up a new grilling grate idea but didn't know how to communicate or sell it to Weber. I will BBQ a turkey again in a few weeks and have received rave reviews from family in how moist and good the flavor is. My brother may even fly out from CA to enjoy my turkey again.

Outstanding grill. It has everything you need: charcoal storage; great wheels that work easily; excellent metal work surface next to the grill; great ash dispenser; timer; tool rack. The construction is first rate: with a cover, your grandkids could still be using this grill. Assembly was EASY. No need crazy gymnastics to build it.

This is a great charcoal grill! I gave it a 4.5 stars because of a few design flaws and preferences. Previously, I had both the Genesis, and then Spirit grills for at least 10-12 years, the Genesis lasted 9-10 years and Spirit had dangerous design flaws (gas leaks). This new Performer Premium is the perfect height, wheels for easy mobility and locks, temp gauge, timer, with an easier, removable ash pan. In addition, the grill grate has center pan placement, a storage with a side table. The center grill grate is not easy to lift up, or even put back on if adding charcoal. The grill grate can't just be placed into the kettle because exposed bolts get in the way so you have to manuever the grill grate into place. Overall though, I'm very satisfied in the first month of using it at least 5 times.

Perfect grill, can't ask for a better set up. Perfects a small redesign to update certain features. For example the digital clock, that is not very useful in this day and age of cell phones.

My only complaint is that I wish they could make a charcoal container that would be able to with stand the heat. My container for a bag of charcoal has shriveled do to the heat.

So far, the grill is working fine. The user needs to do more grilling and get use to all the features of the grill.

Love the Performer. I had the Platinum charcoal grill for 20 years and the Performer has some nice improvements. The casters makes it easy to move around my deck and the working area is metal vs molded plastic.

Very good charcoal grill! Went short of 5 stars for a few personal preferences. I had last performer grill for over 20 years, bottom kettle rusted through so time for upgrade. New Performer Pro's: Taller in height, front wheel locks, food timer, temp gauge, easier ash pan removal and grill grate has options for adding charcoal, center pan placement and metal side table. That being said, it is a little heavier if moving around. The center grill grate is not easy to remove or put back on if adding charcoal while cooking. There is a spot to hang full grate on backside of grill but not the removable small center grate. Would prefer they give an option included for just a regular grate with side charcoal access. The new grill grate is designed more for accessories you can purchase if you want to go that route. I'm more old school and like the one piece grill grate and a roll of tin foil… nothing you can't cook like that! Overall though, very happy in the first month!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
