I have posted a first review elaborating on the problems with the grill. Since then Weber has sent three shipments of various parts and pieces. Nothing sent has resolved the original problems. The rack on the bottom is either 1) too long, 2) the plastic pieces that hold the rack are manufactured wrong or 3) the legs are bent wrong. One of the three above or a combination of the three results in not being able to put together the first phase of assembly without forcing the legs to bend. Even if that is done then the screws must be forced in to get the rack into the space between the legs. Even if one is lucky enough to get a great deal of pressure on the legs to get the rack into place the result is the metal surface on the top does not fit without forcing the legs together which in turn causes the bowl to distort. The combination of all of these problems have not been resolved by Weber sending piece meal replacements. I need an entire new grill.

There's a reason it's called the Performer. It is probably the best kettle grill. Perfect 22 inch kettle, great working table, great charcoal storage, large bottom shelf. This thing has it ALL. Nothing cooks as good as a Weber Kettle and this just makes the experience the best! Nightly recommended.

Love the grill, had and older version of the same about 12 years. No really a fan of the removable center part of the grilling grate. Wish I had a choice in selecting a grate without the removable center. The center has a tendency to fall out of position into the coal grate when cleaning.

This rig is a big "quality-of-life" upgrade to the standard kettle grill I've been using for two decades (if you can afford it). I wish I had bought one years ago. I prefer the simple version, without the propane charcoal starter, but you do you… Standard black is generally my thing, but I would've purchased a green or red one if that was an option. First use… a 15lb brined Turkey, indirect heat, done in 90 minutes, juicy through & through. My only complaint is the lack of a proper cookbook, like the amazing one I got with my first Weber kettle grill back in 1997 (still using that one, patched together with lots of masking & duct tape, kept in a gallon ziplock bag).

Although the grille is specialized w the removable center area. I don't like it. I will be replacing it soon w a simpler one. Overall good he barbecue pit is fantastic

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
