I replaced my conventional kettle grill with this beauty. Smokes ribs and pork butt like a champ. Some hardwood charcoal, good spice rub, cook 'em low and slow. Prep table is a huge plus. No more fumbling for food while balancing a tray in your hand. Love my little smoke show. Propane is for noobs.

I have used Weber Grills for decades, because of their design and strength. My Performer, especially with the Optional 'Grill Grate' has once again raised the bar. The 'charcoal bucket' and larger work surface adjacent to the grill are truly functional features, that to some may seem minor, until you put this workhorse to the task. The re-designed customizable grill surface is an incredible upgrade, whether searing a steak or stirring a Wok. This was obviously not designed by computer techs, but rather folks that know and love to BBQ.

I have been using this grill for couple of years. One of the features is removable aluminum ash catcher, which made it a lot easier to take care of cleaning the grill.

I've owned a Weber all my adult life, and the Performer has been the high point of grilling. It takes cooking anything to the next level. Get one, you'll thank me.

The grate should have been the standard grate instead of the one with the round removable center grate. Whenever I scrub the center grate it has a tendency to flip out of the main grate and fall down into the coals. Also the lid holder screws are too long where it attaches to the main grill bowl. The screws protrude too far in so when I go to put the cooking grate onto the tabs inside the bowl I have to angle the side of the grate downward towards the lid holder screws at an angle (you just can't position the grate straight down) this in turn can cause singed hair and skin. My regular kettle grill i can put the grate straight down onto the tabs. Purchased a grill cover and it needs two velcro straps on each end, not just one. Had to get my wife to sew on extra velcro straps so it doesn't blow off and away.

Awesome grill. I cook about three to four times a week on it. So many different coal set up options that there isn't much that you can't cook on it. I gave up on the gas grill years ago because it seemed like every year I was replacing expensive burners or grates which over time adds up. The only issue I have had with this grill is the metal tables paint started to flake and rust, nothing too bad. I contacted Weber and they informed me that the table was out of warranty, but they sent me a replacement anyway. Awesome customer service! My next grill will definitely be a Weber.

Great charcoal grill. Easy to use, very convenient as you have all you need on hand. Grilling utensils, charcoal and even a slot to hang your grilling grate. Easy to clean, uses less charcoal than my previous grill and cooks evenly. Excellent quality very sturdy and solid. I recommend this grill from beginners to seasoned outdoor cooks.

Nothing is better than food on a charcoal grill. Weber makes it easy! Love the trays that enable me to grill indirectly just like I do on my Weber gas grill. Built in charcoal keeper makes it so convenient!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
