This is the perfect middle point between a cheap kettle grill and an expensive kamado. It functions well for smoking and grilling, and it looks sharp as well! The grill is easy to use and looks as though it will last for many years.

I have been wanting to join the Kamado Joe family for quite some time. With the new Kettle Joe, I can get the best of both worlds. The ceramic inserts retain heat like no other kettle grill for long lasting burns. It also comes with a SloRoller accessory which makes smoking a dream! It's extremely easy to move around, and is a very good looking grill. The quality of materials used in this product are first class. The assembly was straight forward without to many moving parts. At this price point, you can't go wrong!

My cooks on the Kettle Joe have proven that this is the Swiss Army knife of kettle grills. At this price point you get a lot for your money. It does successfully integrate the merits of a high-end kettle grill and a kamado. You get a kettle grill as capable for a reverse sear as anything on the market that I am familiar with and you get a kamado style cooker with the Kamado Joe SloRoller technology. The SloRoller functions better than I imagined and the ceramic lined firebox makes this kettle relatively fuel efficient, quite responsive, and very capable. I have used it with a PID control system and it will track the setpoint spot-on. The Kettle Joe's innovative design and materials of construction give you an extremely versatile cooker that should prove to be durable. The grates and firebox cage are stainless steel and the integrated stand is very robust with good casters and locks. The vertically adjustable hinge is well made and allows you to swap from kettle mode to kamado/SloRoller mode lickity split. At 22" in diameter, it opens up the universe of accessories for this size grill. Most importantly, the BBQ that has come off this grill has pleased my taste testers! So yes, I recommend the grill.

After 30 years of gas/propane grilling I'm ditching my three burner for my new Kettle Joe.. Delivered straight to my door steps and within a little bit of time It was put together and ready to go..Can't wait to get to grilling and smoking on my Kettle Joe...

Besides being a kettle, this grill offers the smoking advantage of having the sloroller insert option, it includes metal side tables and an ash collection tray. Hiding inside you also get a built in charcoal basket and removable ceramic firebox inserts that resemble the AMP firebox. For portability they can be removed to make the assembly lighter. Also has the familiar two level d&c rack that can fit a Big Joe heat deflector. Winner!

Purchased this grill as a budget intro in to the ceramic cooker world. Experience with kettle style grills and lack of experience with ceramic cookers made the Kettle Joe a very appealing choice. Assembly was a breeze and everything arrived without damage. Burn in was eye opening as I was able to adjust the air flow and pay attention to how the coals behaved. First cook was love at first fire! Easy to use is an understatement and the cook went off without any issues at all! I cannot wait to use the SloRoller for longer and lower cooks. Great grill for someone who is split between traditional kettle grills and ceramic cookers!

Just received the new Kettle Joe. This grill is going to fill a void in the Kamado Joe lineup. The diameter matches the Weber Kettle at 22" so all the accessories for a Weber will fit on this grill. It comes with the new slo-roller which is a smoking game changer. One of the nicest features of this grill is the ceramic inserts for the firebox. You can keep them out and the grill is light enough to take camping of leave them in and you will be able to maintain set temps for longer periods with less fuel consumption. Quality is shown from top to bottom. It has the vents that you have come to love from Kamado Joe products to the stainless-steel grates and coal basket. This grill is going to be a winner for anyone looking to up their game or join the Kamado Joe family.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
