Smoker digital works don't work
I've had this smoker for over 2 years, it has performed flawlessly. I keep it clean inside and out. I really like the glass door to keep an eye on meat. The temp control is spot on. I recent!y bought a KC Platinum combo and it has been flawless also. Keep those easy to use high quality cookers coming Pit Boss.
I bought this about 10 months ago or so. Listed as a 4 rack unit, i received 3 didn't matter much at the time but I would like to have the 4th just in case. The first and second time used it the unit would not properly heat up...and then I figured it out. User error, I need to read the instructions. Anyway finally had to try again, 3rd times a charm. 8.5 lb pork butt - took 14 hours, wasn't fall off the bone so maybe another 2 hours, not sure as we were out of time. I do agree with the fact that the unit doesn't provide enough smoke by using the "Smoke" button just once, i needed to use it several times to keep it smoking, the problem with that is it runs up the temp and throws off the cook time. Could've been that 14 hours may have been enough and heating it up like that made tougher than I expected. Anyway a decent unit, i just recommended the Pit Boss units to a co-worker, I brought in some of the pork butt I smoked over the weekend and he enjoyed it so there ya go...
I started smoking meats in 1991. I have had 4 Bullet Smokers one electric, one charcoal, and two propane, three electric pit Smokers and three big chiefs (I use these for fish and my from scratch bacon). I bought this Series 3 Pit Boss three years ago. It has never failed to reack any temp I need, or any smoke level I need. I have smokes pork butt, turkey breasts and whole turkies, chicken whole and cut up, and multiple prime ribs. I am never, ever, disappointed! It doesn't even matter what kind of chips I use! It does an outstanding job EVERY TIME!

I bought this smoker just after Christmas of last year. I have used it almost every weekend and cant say enough good things about it and the job it does. The temp may may struggle to get to 400 but I never smoke over 250 anyway so no issue. Quality and price and will buy another one for my lake house.
I have had this in Colorado for a few months, but weather kept me from really using it. After moving to Florida a few months ago, I've been on it quite a bit. Simply love it! I've always wanted an easy-to-use smoker that didn't take up alot of space. This smoker fits the bill. Everything I make in it turns out amazing. Mostly a rib guy, but looking forward to some fresh fish smoking out here. I highly recommend.
Bought this less than a year ago and the control board/temp sensor is bad already. Smoker digital display says its at 225 but the analog oven thermometer says it's only at 125. After adjusting the temp 100 degrees higher ever cooks well. Rating would be much higher if the temps were right.

Initial assembly was not possible because the smoker cabinet was missing several threaded inserts preventing installation of the screws. Called customer service to describe the problem and did not reach a knowledgeable person. Suffice to say after two separate repair parts shipments I was able to blacksmith my way to complete assembly. Eighteen months later having smoked a variety of ribs, brisket, chicken, pork etc I am very pleased with the product. My only complaint is the electronic readout is very dim and difficult to read during daylight hours. I find I must get down on my knees and get very close in order to see it.

I've had this smoker for a year now. Wanted to give it a fair chance. It is virtually impossible to get this thing to smoke properly, no matter what you put in the tray. I've tried small chips, large chips, packed loosely and packed tightly. Even tried pellets. It just doesn't work as well as it should for a "smoker". I own it now, so I guess I'll start trying to modify it and see if I can make it work. An amazing tube is the only way this thing works, but the smoke is different from chips and harder to find/more expensive. Sorry Pit Boss, but you struck out on this one and probably any other Pit Boss product for me. BTW, I'm no rookie, have and have had quite a few outdoor cookers of various persuasions.

First experience. I used this yesterday. I hit the set/act then temp set to 225 then temp again but element did nothing. Hit smoke button but then temp would just rise and wouldn't set. I spent all day regulating temp by turning on and off then finished my ribs in the oven for 1 1/2 hours

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
