I like the concept I had another brand for 10 years and when finally went bad I found this one and bought it. The problem with it is that it only gets to 100 degrees which makes it worthless. I'm so disappointed with it!

bought it June 15 2025 heating element not working, missing one rack holder. have sent emails several times. nobody does any thing all ways some body else problem. was going to buy one for my daughter ,assembly too hard and no help if it does not work.

Have used it as a smoker twice with fantastic results. Easy to get started and clean up. Would be better if there was a middle metal rack so you could two things at once. Overall good rating.

It does the job. The lid doesn't fit up. Should have smoke times down after a few more uses.

It's versitale, can use as grill or smoker. Would be much better if the light gage metal was reinforced at the top and bottom to stay round,as not to buckled out of place. Hard to put top on and off.

Brand new this summer. Used it a total of three times. The heating element cuts in and out causing heat to dissipate, prolonging cook time and essentially ruining not only the food, but the entire experience. Nothing more fun than standing over a hot smoker on a muggy summer evening, manually holding the heat controller/heating element connection in place trying to coax the stupid thing to finish cooking your meal. Cheaply made, poor workmanship, and since it's too late to get my money back, it's going out curbside tomorrow headed to the scrap heap where it belongs. R.I.P.

Used my smoker for the first time, smoking a whole chicken. Temperature set at 250 degrees and held for the entire time line for 5 hours. Very happy!!

The bolts, screws and nuts came loose in a bag, the pictures in the instructions did not label the hardware very well, making it a tad tough for this 60+ grandma to assemble. After a bit of frustration, I got the thing put together. Had a little difficulty getting the controller into the heating element as it required some muscle and arthritic hands don't do that well. Just wanted to let folks knowable this if they have the same limitations. All that being said, I am looking forward to trying it out!

Followed recipe in Meco americana assembly manual, smoked 2 3/4# filets of fresh Wild Pacific Salmon, two chunks of hickory, and several apple shards of wood on element area, Wow the results were awesome, only took two hours, great smoked flavor.....very happy! Now trying to find a smoker cover to fit this unit? any recommendations appreciated.

Asked by Erock | Answered by WesleyHi Kirby. The biggest advantage of a water pan during smoking is to help meats retain moisture during long "low and slow" cooking. The water pan can also be filled with other flavor-inducing liquids besides water.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
