Whenever I shop I sometimes put too much time into researching to the point where I'm paralyzed to buy. In this case I was torn between the Lion grill and this model. I'm very pleased with my purchase of this Blaze natural gas grill. I also purchased one ceramic infrared burner. Ive been cooking with this grill for about 9 months now and have little to complain about. It gets very hot when you want so searing meat gives professional results with perfect marks, even with the standard burners. I'm asking Santa for a grill glove because it can get hot enough where its difficult to flip burgers. You can also control the temperature enough to slow cook a thick steak or chop with great results before reverse searing. In the evening, you can see what you're doing well enough with its lights, but performance does fade if you don't keep on top of cleaning them. One thing I don't like about this grill is that the top of the grill grates are the same level as the body of the unit. This makes it easy for some foods like hot dog to roll off the cooking surface and onto the ground. The grill I had prior had grates that were a little recessed which prevented this from happening. I'm not so much a fan of the cart that comes with this grill. It is a little flimsy and the weld on the inside of one of the doors broke within a week. I didn't bother to call customer service for another because I don't want to go through the pain of disassembly to change it. Also, there is a vent hole in the back that is wide open and way too big. It would have been nicer to have a slotted piece of metal instead to protect what you store inside the cabinet from the elements. All in all I don't think you can go wrong with this grill. Yes it is expensive, but this is no Home Depot type. I simply blows my friend's Webber away. Can you get a better grill, sure you can, but I'm not sure its worth the logarithmic jump in price from this point forward, unless you have money to burn.

Very high quality. Cooking with it is such an upgrade to my old grill/

I bought a great and expensive grill 25 years ago and it is still in good shape (MHP WNK model), so I was reluctant to replace it when we installed a new underground propane tank here in The Villages. BBBGuys website provided so much good information and resources from all brands that I could compare what is available in today's market. Technology has improved over the years and that includes grilling technology. With so many products and varied features, I selected what meets my needs today as well as everything I could anticipate in the future. I feel that the Blaze LTE 32 with 4 burners (+infrared rotisserie) meets all my needs, from steaks to fish, to Italian sausage, and all sorts of veggies. I have expanded my grillable expectations. The videos are very helpful in both determining which model to choose, and how to grill using today's technology. The price was initially shocking (5 x what I paid 25 years ago) but very competitive. This grill will find it's way to my kids when I depart. The only negative was absolutely deplorable delivery company R&L Carriers. Friday PM delivery was confirmed by R&L. Friday came, the grill did not, although I did receive a call to tell me it did not make it out their Atlanta hub. Monday PM was promised, and I was at home to receive it. The R&L truck came, the polite driver opened the door and the grill was not there. Phone calls to R&L and BBBGuys resulted in R&L telling me that it only arrived in FL at 12:30. I love timely logistics information. The last person I spoke with at R&L told me it was scheduled for Tues PM. Tuesday arrived as expected. The grill did not. Apparently, R&L sent me a message after my last conversation with a human, asking me to confirm Tuesday PM. Wed now promised. Wednesday PM came with foreboding. The driver called and informed me my address did not exist - always good to know. Grill did arrive and driver was helpful and polite. Four half days of work lost! Good thing I'm retired.

I feel the instructions could have been better. Nothing said about seasoning the grill. Nothing about installing the light transformer. Guess those who make the grill already know how to do everything, and assume everyone else does also. I am a DIY guy supreme. Have hundreds of tools and know how to use them, but a new grill? The instructions were very generic. More stuff about built in grills, and natural gas than what I bought. Sure, I had the thing assembled in 30 minutes, with LP hooked up. But the break-in was never covered, or the cleanup, and this grill takes a lot of maintenance to keep it clean. No doubt it is very sturdy, and will last. The fire is very close to the grids, and can burn food fast, but with a little practice, or Grill Grates, I Can see this being a workhorse. I will master this grill, but sure coulda used some tips. I ended calling the company who built it, as bbq guys Just wanted to sell, and were not helpful past that. If you wanna know some tips, call Blaze.

Frankly I'm not sure all these review are legit. I researched a lot of grills and spoke to a BBQ Guy rep and was totally sold. But this grill requires a lot of maintenance/cleaning and it heats unevenly. It often is way too hot. It seems to be either too hot or too cool.

I've owned my grill for almost 5 years. I use it 3 times a week, 52 weeks a year. It's a tremendous grill, sturdy and built like a tank. I have owned 10+ grills and the Blaze is the best of all of them. It is a high quality product and a very reasonably priced grill.....it's a must buy for someone who enjoys grilling and wants a quality product. You need to buy one!

Researched every grill out there before I selected the Blaze LTE on cart with infared sear burner. Love the quality and get lots of compliments on the look especially when grilling at night with the accent and cook zone lighting. Fire control is excellant with no flareup issues. Steak, shrimp and veggies cooked at the same time in different heat zones. Full size drip pan catches anything that the flame tamers don't handle which isn't much. After a week of cooking various meats the pan is virtually empty. I typically cook most meats over charcoal but I'm finding I use this propane grill for much more than I anticipated due to convince of use and ease of cleaning. So far I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

I will start with this; the Blaze grill is very good but not perfect depending on your main cooking style. I am upgrading from a Weber Genesis that gave me an awesome 11 years of heavy-use grilling 2-4 times a week. I will start with the shortcoming IMHO; I like to do a lot of indirect cooking when grilling and I will tell you that when it comes to the Blaze, I will give it low points in this area. The Blaze is very inefficient when cooking; for example, a pork shoulder for 4+ hours, it goes through gas like there's no tomorrow. Using the two outer burners for this purpose I can only get 315°F with two burners full blast. My previous weber was way more efficient and could maintain the higher or lower temps with ease and less fuel. I did contact Blaze and ask if 425°F with all burners on high was acceptable and their response was the surface temp was about 625°F and ambient was the 425°F, and they are correct. The problem is that this grill's rear vent opening is about 1 ½" x 32", and that is way too big in my opinion. My previous grill was more even when comparing ambient temp with grill surface and you need that for slow cooks. When just doing burgers and steaks, the grill is awesome. Controlling flare-ups is very good, I will say a tad better than my previous Weber. The 304 stainless construction is top notch and one of the main reasons I bought it. The lights are great and also the assembly was very simple by my standards. Overall the grill is very good but if you're like me and like to do a lot of long indirect cooks maybe look elsewhere. On a side note without going into much detail, I did mod a 304 stainless steel square tube to reduce the vent opening and this made the grill just as efficient as my previous Weber. In case anybody is wondering, the cart, waste tray, and control knobs do not get hot at all before and after using the 304 square tube mod.

Great grill and folks at Shoppers Choice were excellent I have been using my grill about 2-3 times per week over the past month. No flareups, even heat but burns very hot. Need to keep an eye on what you are cooking and learn how to adjust the temperature accordingly. As other people have noted, the drip pan gets wet when it rains (not an issue for me). Grill quality is a huge upgrade from my old Weber. So far no issues.

. I wanted to update my comment about the grill being slightly hotter in the back. It's very very slight. I turned all burners on high and let it get good and hot. The flame tamers actually glow slightly red hot! You can see it in the evening if you turn off the lights. This grill can put down some heat. So when looking at the glowing parts of the flame tamers, you can see that it's really pretty even front to back.and side to side! Just wanted to set the record straight on that. Thanks.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
