this item is a complete disappointment. not working 95% of the time.

Living in Florida we grill 2 or 3 times a week on average. I bought a Lion grill 13 years ago when we moved here and this is an exact replica. We just love it! The only possible downside is i looked at refurbishing the old grill and that was within a few hundred dollars of a new grill.

It's a great backyard kitchen cooking device!

I bought this grill in 2018, so I have owned it for 7 years. I live at the beach in SoCal, and the salt air & sun is VERY hard on everything that is stored outside. Good things: - The stainless steel is very good quality and has done an excellent job in a very tough environment. Sure, it has some stains, but very, very little rust. The grates are still looking great, and even the deflectors are not terrible. - It generates some really good heat - the BTUs are great. Not Good Things: - The igniters are unreliable - they were unreliable out of the box, and they have gotten worse over time. The far left igniter is completely dead, I have to start the second burner and hope it marries back to the first. It takes MANY tries to get each burner to light. - The heat is uneven. As many other reviewers have said, the heat is uneven front to back. And, if you have a breeze blowing into the front of the grill, it is much worse. Cooking a large number of items (like a bunch of chicken breasts) is quite difficult. You have to balance needing to move the items around the grill with not wanting to lose all your heat by constantly lifting the hood. - The rotisserie is useless for me. Leaving the motor outside is a sure way to have it fail in our environment, and the burner won't light. I never use it. - The lights are too weak to be useful, and the switch corroded. - The thermometer is inaccurate and the uneven heating makes it only good for generally knowing if the grill is hot. Overall: At the time I purchased, it was the best deal on all stainless, high BTU grill. It has served its purpose, and once I learned its idiosyncrasies, I have used it to make some very good food. However, I would NOT buy it again. I'm not sure what I will buy, but it won't be a Lion.

It looks great installed. We just haven't used it yet. Love that it came with a cover. Hope to get years of usage!

I bought this 3-4 years ago. Used it I'd say below a normal rate. It's covered at all times. It is now almost unusable. I bought the ceramic parts, seater, charcoal grates n more. That's where the problem starts. I used the charcoal attachments as directed. It then ruined the grill and I guess with regular usage the grill is almost trash. It creates too much heat. Ruined my drip Trey and know 2 of my burgers and knobs are trash. It's not all from the charcoal attachments but know I need to replace. 2 knobs (can't turn them) the stop trey, all 4 burners, the thermostat and the ceramic deflectors. The replavemoarts will cost almost as much as a new one. Remember. 3-4 years old and used I'd say below a normal rate. Highly disappointed.

I purchased te 32" grill, side burner, and a few cabinet doors at the advice of the on-site sales rep in Baton Rouge. I went to the showroom ready to purchase another brand, but listened to the sales rep instead of following my own research. The hot spots are terrible, the sear burner rusted and fell apart in less than two years. The pit has a gas leak I can not find. I would highly advise going with another brand. Do you research and don't listen to BBQ Guys sales reps. I truly believe th rep was incentivized to sell the Lion POS….

I bought this about 5 years ago based on price and how it looked, as I know little about grills. It looks gorgeous, even 5 years later. The grill heats unevenly from front to back & side to side. Hard to keep it at a constant temperature as well. The materials are all excellent quality (burners, burner covers, the actual grills) and clean up very nicely. Overall, you get what you pay for I think. I wish I'd gotten something a bit nicer, but for what little I grill, this'll do. Side note: the cover blows off it all the time, nearly impossible to keep it on.
