I purchased this unit after 2 months of researching and reading many pages of specs and reviews, from a local dealer in Wa. The pro: Solid unit, functions as advertised, easy to assemble . Excellent heat control and features. I love the cast SS grates ( i would say the main reason i purchase this grill,+ fact is black!) Cans: Quality control suffers! One of the cables for LCD came with 1 wire disconnected from terminal. The store replaced it with the cable from another unit. ( Really appreciated) . Filling a warranty claim ( to return it to the store... back ordered until August!!!!!) Really ??

The lid, which I cannot adjust, which I did not put together won't sit level. The wait time to visit with a human being as well over an hour. On another occasion, had a chance to just give them my phone number and they would call me back, but this was not an option this time when I called. For that reason, I'm going to upload this video in hopes that it will get someone's attention and I'll get a call back.

Love the new Phantom in every way except one. The heat range across the entire grill grate is not even. The front 4-5" has a noticeably lower temp when cooking on high. The middle of the grill is the sweet spot but I expected a more even heat distribution for a grill at this cost level.

But the horrible assembly manual required many contacts with support. Still cannot get to the connection for the light controls without taking the entire base apart. I hope that once these assembly issues are resolved that it will be a great grill. Until these issues are resolved I will reserve judgement. You really need to think about redoing the manual so it's accurate and actually shows what is in the box. And how about some assembly videos?

3 cooks after i recieved my grill the wheel broke off as i attempted to move it away from house to cook. ( The extremely thin brass nutsert broke in half). Thank god the grill was off!!. I was sent a replacement. The whole bottom cabinet is cheaply made and extremely flimsy which really sucks at this price point!! 5 cooks after i recieved my grill cover the threads attaching the velcro came apart. I feel i wasted my hard earned money!!.

Two of the four main burners won't light due to igniter defect. I am waiting for replacement parts, but I'm not crazy about the grill getting a significant disassembly to replace these parts.

I purchased this Napoleon BBQ in May 2025, expecting top-tier performance and quality. Unfortunately, from the very first use, the unit was plagued with serious defects. The burners failed to ignite reliably, the cross-ignition was the only way to light some burners, the control screen and temperature probes didn't work properly, and one knob's lighting was faulty. Over the next two months, I endured multiple service visits and major part replacements — including an entire manifold — yet the BBQ still never functioned as it should. During the last service call, two technicians admitted they had no idea what was wrong with it. The solution was to send ANOTHER manifold. Napoleon agreed to offer credit toward a replacement, but I abandoned the brand entirely. What's more, when the defective BBQ was finally picked up by the retailer, the delivery team casually mentioned they had removed another identical unit from another customer earlier that same day, also defective. A high-end BBQ at this price point should never require months of repairs and guesswork to function..

Had about this six months now. The black edition it is wonderful. I love it! The only complaint I have is the handle for opening. It gets hotter than heck thinking about putting some header wrap on it off the car.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
