We bought our Sovereign 90 in 2008. It has been used heavily for the last 14yrs and worked great. This last year though the burners finally rusted out and began not function. Went to a local dealer and bought new burners and a bunch of other parts at a fraction of the cost of a new BBQ. It is like new again and can't imagine why it won't work for another 12 yrs +. Would highly recommend Broil King to anyone.

I bought the sovereign grill and I have to say it's the best grill I have ever owned. The consistent heat and infinite control are a game changer for me. My grill is in use 5 days out of 7 most weeks. Highly recommend!

I purchased my first sovereign XLS 90 in 2008. I sold my house in January of 2022 and left the barbecue with the new owners. It was starting to show some wear but come on it's 15 years old. I was lucky enough to find one here near Toronto so I went and immediately bought it. It's a 2018 model but it's brand new and if it lasts 15 years I'll be 75 years old and may not need another barbecue. I cannot more highly recommend this barbecue. Also, it is made in Waterloo Ontario Canada. Do yourself a favor and buy a Canadian made broil King...

The impact of the COVID pandemic prevented me from selecting this BBQ in person, in a store. I truly missed out on the hands on experience, and may have made a different decision regarding my purchase given the opportunity to get a better feel for the BBQ before it was bought and assembled at home. While the size of the BBQ is great for what we cook, there are some flaws. The burners blow out easily when the temperature is anywhere below half, which may be due to larger than necessarily ventilation holes at the rear of the BBQ, or the shape of the lid (designed to accommodate the rotisserie attachment which is not built into this model), or due to overall poor design or performance. The grills are easily shifted, and don't feel secure - there is too much movement. For the price, this is a disappointment. I appreciate the opportunity to share this review, as it has been on my mind since the purchase was assembled at home and used the first time last summer. Broil King was our top choice due to the business being based in Canada, but I'm not certain our next BBQ will be Broil King.

I bought this grill a year ago and I absolutely love this grill. For the first time I have been able to grill chicken wings without burning and the rotisserie chicken is easier and faster than ordering takeout. Steaks are easy I just wish I could have ordered a second grill for the summer home before it was discontinued

Our third XLS90 we bought the 1st for a Condo client to use in common area for 90 units and they loved it - 2nd for our personal use 12 years ago and last year a 3rd new one this year. We love the extra space on the grille to spread out - Assorted meats, vegetables and keeping things warm. Side burner is excellent for cooking on HOT days and avoid going inside. For small jobs only lite up one side. Even cooking excellent BBQ great value.

I bought this BBQ roughly nine years ago.It's worked flawlessly performance wise.My issue was that after being stored inside the garage over its first three winters I noticed all of its internals were starting to rust.Also I found that the upper inside of the lid where it's painted was cracking/peeling and dropping on the food.I removed as much paint as I could to try to stop it.Now the burners,shields etc are totally rotted out and need total replacing.I feel that it served it's time and performed well.On a positive note many people complimented me on the size of the cooking area and the heat it put out. I would definitely buy another Broil King like this one or recommend one.

I bought this in the summer and have used it dozens of times already. Great heat and even cooking. Stays hot well. Only negative is moving it around (due to my deck spacing I move it almost ever time I use it) the wheels make it awkward to move but I got used to it. Overall great buy.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
