I purchased this grill from Ace and assembled it myself, the toughest part was trying to hold the washers in place while I connected the fold down table and the caster inserted. (Please add to your instructions to use some tape to keep them in place during this phase.) Enjoy seeing the temperature while cooking, used it for yellow squash, vegetables and steak etc.

Great grill. The "new style" ash catcher sucks. It requires one to squeeze the handle to remove and replace the ash pan. Wouldn't be a problem if I were Charlie Atlas, but I'm not. The force required to do this is insane. I have to use channel locks to squeeze the wire handle together. I'd give the grill 5 stars if they had left well enough alone.

I've had this grill for about a month now and have used it several times and it cooks well. In the beginning I was a little disappointed in my purchase but it was no fault of Webers. I didn't see any damage to the original box and took everything out to assemble and couldn't get all the screws to align between the legs and the table which caused 2 screws to cross thread, I finally noted that the table had been bent on one corner which was causing all the problems. I called Weber and customer service was great. I quickly received in the mail at no charge a new table, front leg and assent screw pack and the grill went together perfectly with one exception that I don't know if was part of the original damage or is just poor QC on Webers part, the round dome lid and the bottom "kettle" do not mate properly (one or both are out - of - round) which causes the lid to just kinda "balance" on top and I get a lot of heat loss. Two things I would like to have seen included with a grill at this price point is at least a "starter" level grill cover as well as a handle of some sort to manipulate the grill grate (to add or spread the coals after lighting, this grill comes with grate that can be opened) so I'm not using a pair of pliers. Overall I'm content with the grill but sometimes wonder if I would have been happier going with the competitors grill.

I purchased my Weber performer a month ago. I am very surprised about the amount of heat it can generate and preserve. I can tell it was built with great materials. I had an issue with the side table and call Weber support, they registered my serial number and two days later I had a brand new tables with all its components.

I have always own a Weber Grill but the Performer Charcoal Grill 22" has been the best of ALL. Excellent Grill!!

This is my second Performer that I own. The other is a deluxe - has gas assist. It's a great "little" Performer. Doesn't take up much real estate (that's why I bought it), EZ to move around, love the fold-up table (that's why I bought it) and is a joy to use.

Great grill. Tried-and-true design. High quality. Replaced my 3rd 3-legged model, all of which lasted 10-15 years. The cart and shelf is really handy. Assembly was fairly straightforward. One screw didn't have any threads, but an email to Weber and they sent out a replacement. I've used Weber customer service before and it's always superb!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
