Weber Performer Deluxe 22-Inch Freestanding Charcoal Grill w/ Touch-N-Go Ignition - Black - 15501001

I had the last version for 25 years and I'm looking forward to another 25 years with this one!

U-frame arrived broken and customer service has done everything they can to not get me a replacement. I had to use my own bolt and lock-nut to adjust/fix the grill because one of the internal nuts in the u-frame was broken. The grill itself is fine and I like it, but considering how much we paid for this, I was expecting a much much much higher standard of customer service and quality assurance.

This is my third Performer. I'm really impressed with the upgrade from my last one, which was 10 years old. As you can see they are very durable. This new Weber has a middle part on the cooking grate that comes off. Very nice. The cooking grate is also much stronger steel and heavier. The charcoal catcher is much easier to remove and clean. Overall, a great BBQ grill becomes fantastic.

Looks great but propane tank leaks. Love the table but very disappointed in the leak.

This Weber Grill is nearly identical to the one I bought 19 years ago, which lasted a long time. It combines the taste of a charcoal grill with the convenience of a gas lighting.

This grill is amazing. The built in table and charcoal lighter are game changers for me. Weber quality is the best and it's great to know the company stands behind their warranty as well.

Awesome grill. The little propane starter means my coals are glowing in five minutes—no chimney, no lighter fluid, no drama. Once it's hot, the lid and vents make holding temps stupid-easy, whether I'm slow-smoking ribs or blasting steaks. The big side table is clutch for trays and tongs, and the lid holder keeps me from juggling hot metal. Cleanup? Pull the lever, dump the ash, done. After a summer of heavy use, the enamel still shines and the cart rolls like new. If you want charcoal flavor with almost gas-grill convenience, this 22" Performer Deluxe is the one. Five stars all day.

I like everything about this grill. Easy ignition, large work area, and a big versatile cooking surface. This thing will make me a chef.

We were given a Performer for free from neighbor in 2020...took us a day to to power wash it, doubt at the time they had ever cleaned it! Dumping ash was gruesome, vents below didn't work, but we grilled and smoked for 5 years, grates rotted out, sick of scraping ash around the 3 ribs in bottom of kettle, went and bought a new Performer Deluxe. Good Lord, game changer! Love the propane driven charcoal lighter and the char baskets! Those 3 ribs? The ash scrapers on bottom vent controls that were frozen in place. Who knew? WOW. This grill is so versatile, and I use it to smoke as often as I do to grill. I have a WSM 18 to smoke large amounts (love that, too), but this grill does quick one meal smokes as well as quick grilling. The Weber website is easy to navigate and answers a lot of questions. We got the deep green grill, a girl has to enjoy her colors!

I love the way this cooks! The temperature is super consistent over an hour long cook with no need to add more briquettes. It's easy to clean and maintain. The charcol stays dry in the bucket (I bought and highly recommend the cover). I wish there was a better place to put the center insert when I need to move the charcol baskets around (which, by the way, I love) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the propane starter. it makes getting the charcol ready a snap. I keep the charcol right in the baskets. If I need more charcol for the next fire, I just add it to the existing charcol. When I shut the vents it kills the fire enough to get a couple of cooks out of the charcol. The only downside is that the shut off valve for the propane doesn't seem to work. The propane will leak out. I tried the soapy water trick, but couldn't find the leak. My solution is to disconnect the propane tank every time I'm done - which is a little annoying, but way easier than a chimney!
