Love this grill. Took a bit to put together but all in all I'd recommend it. Just wish it was delivered before the 4th of July, since everything else I ordered with it did. Weber should use fedex or ups, not the third party delivery company that I had to deal with.

The grill is great, love the pre-starter and the table space to set things down. The actual grate for cooking with the two piece removable middle is awful though. I'll be replacing that with a traditional top going forward.

I have had many charcoal grills in my lifetime. Big, small, adjustable, etc. The Weber Performer Deluxe is by far the best charcoal grill I have ever cooked on. Hands down and no contest?!

I bought the performer delux to replace one I have had for about 20 years. The gas start gives you the convenience of a gas grill with the flavor I expect from charcoal. The new design is great especially the small propane tank you can just pick up anywhere. This gives you the back up you need. The timer is a nicety but given that We have so many other smart devices to keep track of time it's kind for not worth it. Especially since it does not stay secure in the holder on the grill. I have the timer just sitting in a drawer. If you like cooking on charcoal I don't think there is a better grill.

We finally had to depart with our 20-year-old Weber Performer charcoal grill when one of the legs rusted through (It had spent 20 years outdoors in New England, albeit with a cover for the winter months). The new Performer is so, so, so much better. The gas lighting process is smooth, definitive, and dependable. The table top surface is improved; the ashcatcher mechanism is better; the grill itself is heavier and stronger. Very happy we purchased the same brand with its over-time improvements.

This is my second Performer. I had to go back to charcoal. I like the use of the camp stove bottles. My first one was a 1 gallon propane tank. I was very disappointed in the assembly instructions, I expected much better drawings and written instructions, Weber can and should do better.

After 30 years, I bought a new Performer grill. Improvements include battery operated ignition, removable middle grate and handy timer. After all that time, it still worked great. Just thought I deserved a treat.

I've owned the 18" Weber for 15 years now and I never thought that owning a 22" would make a difference but I was wrong. The performer deluxe exceeded every expectation I had and I cook so much more food on charcoal then I every thought I would.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
