With the click of a button, you can control your gas logs from the comfort of your chair using a Skytech remote. This remote can be used with a millivolt safety pilot valve or electronic spark ignition for conveniently turning on or off your gas logs, setting the thermostat or 9 hour countdown timer. The remote features an LCD screen displaying the room temperature, time, a flame icon to let you know the unit is on and a low battery indicator. There is also a lock-out feature to prevent children from changing settings and a swing setting will operate the unit whenever the room temperature varies between 1 and 2 degrees from the set temperature. The 110 volt receiver uses a radio frequency signal (within a 20 foot range) to communicate with the remote. You can mount the receiver on the wall or on the fireplace hearth. The receiver uses one of 1,048,576 security codes and also has a learn function and snap on wall plate. Thermostat controls are intended for use with heating appliances such as vent-free gas log sets, direct vent fireplaces, etc. And are not for use with vented gas log sets. This remote can be installed with the variable flame pilot kits but will only turn the flame on/off, it will not adjust flame height.

Skytech warrants the remote control system for a Limited Lifetime of the original owner of this system. Replacement parts will be available at no charge for the first (5) five years of this warranty, and will be available at market cost for the lifetime of the product to that original owner. If Skytech does not have the parts for an individual model, then a replacement system will be provided at no charge for the first (5) five years and sold at market cost for the Lifetime of that product to the original owner.
