The project was coordinated through the Capital Area CASA Association. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and have the opportunity to thrive. In 2019, the Capital Area CASA Association served 362 children and helped 143 reach forever homes.
