Introducing the Pit Boss Silver Star 2 Series digital electric smoker, packed with innovative & easy to use features that will have you smoking like a Boss in no time. Smoke low & slow or crank up the heat from 150 to 400-degrees Fahrenheit with a 1,650 watt electric element and digital control panel. Set precise cooking temperature and time with the digital control panel, featuring a readout display for at-a-glance settings information, internal temperatures and readouts for up to two wired meat probes (one meat probe is included). The digital controller also features a smoke button to manually turn on the heating element when adding fresh wood chips, as well as to increase smoke output before opening the door. Two adjustable damper valves at the top of the smoker give you even more control over temperature and airflow. The double-walled, cold rolled steel cabinet is finished in a stunning silver high-heat coating, offering 593 square-inches of cooking space with 3 porcelain-coated, height-adjustable cooking racks. A sturdy latch securely seals the door shut and features a large viewing window with external heat indicator to keep an eye on things, without sacrificing heat and smoke from breaking the seal. An oversized, front-load tray easily slides out for loading up your favorite wood chips, offering up to 2 hours of cooking time per load. A removable water pan mounted near the base of the cabinet can be filled with your favorite marinade to add more flavor and keep foods fall-off-the-bone tender. A grease tray catches drippings at the bottom of the smoker and slides out for easy cleanup. Check internal temperatures while cooking with the included meat probe, conveniently stowing away in a dedicated control panel slot. 2 front swivel casters, 2 rear locking swivel casters and a handle allow for easy placement and portability.

I smoked and cooked a 10lb prime rib and it was the best I had ever tasted. Plenty of smoke with just one full smoke box of chips. | Love it, love it, love it!I bought this at Walmart a bit over a year after my dad's Masterbuilt died. I love it! A few months ago, we were getting ready to smoke a brisket and had an issue with the control panel. After sending my info to Pit Boss customer service via Twitter, I had a new control panel and the even sent 5 different Pit Boss rubs and seasonings with it (love those too). They really back up their product with service, which has served to make me a loyal Pit Boss customer for life. | Great QualityWell if it works as easy as assembly was then this will be a great smoker. I like doing things myself and the instructions were very easy to follow. | Great SmokerUsed it for the first time and smoked some Ribs. Everything worked fine but there was an error message towards the end of smoking the ribs and I think it was because there was flames coming up from the bottom. Turned it off, let the flames stop, turned it back on and it was fine.... The cleaning up is a process after smoking everything but overall it's a good smoker for a beginner. | Great SmokerI got this smoker for Christmas and used it the same day!!! Only problem I have had is after putting it all together I noticed a dent on the top and did not want to return after getting everything out together and already planning to use immediately. | Non existaent Customer Service !I love the smoker but I ordered a couple extra grate racks on April 28, 2020 and they were back ordered for 4-6 weeks. and as of this date ( July 15, 2020) they are still "processing" and when I try to call customer service I never get through. | You get what you pay forHave had issues with this thing holding temp. It struggles to cook a single pork shoulder. It was set at 275 for 9 hours and the internal meat temp stalled at 165 4 hours in and when I checked it 5 hours later the probe still said 165. Opened it up and it felt like a warm sauna inside. Had to wrap it and finish indirectly on my grill. I've tried vents open vents closed and everything in between. The last straw is the screen has stopped working.
