This is my third high end grill in the past 20 years and definitely the best I have had. With the four propane tubes, it is the most even heating surface I have had. Easy to light and heats up quickly. I live in a snow climate and if anyone knows how to grill in this climate, that's why I bought a Canadian product.

Great features, great heat, great size. This grill gets seriously hot but is easy to control. The layout is excellent and the warming rack is by far the most useful rack I've used. The entire layout is great. Concerns: 1. I already have a few small chips in the black finish after only two months of use. I do wonder how well the black finish will hold up over time. It would be nice if napoleon offered a small touch-up paint stick. 2. The weight and design of the grates is outstanding but the actual footprint of the grates needs to be slightly larger. There is too much side to side and front to back play. Very noticeable when cleaning the grates but hasn't been a problem when cooking so far.

Napoleon makes great grills for the money. The Prestige line is especially great. I have found that the warming rack that comes with the Phantom is much more useful than the normal wire rack. I love the matter black color. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. I love to rotesserie cook and I feel that the Napoleon motor needs to be more powerful. The other reason is the matte paint is coming off where the lid hits the grill after only a few months. Where I would give all Napoleon products a 5 star is the excellent customer service.

As a retired professional chef this has been the best grill I have owned and there has been many. It was pricey could have bought two of the competitors brands but they don't cook as well as this one, if I had to do it all over again I would. I would have on design feature it needs is a propane tank slide out.

It took me a long time to pull the trigger on a new grill and I had the Napoleon line as a possible option all along. I'm glad I finally made the choice. I love how I can do so many things on this grill from traditional stuff, to hanging chicken lollipops on the rack, to searing on the infrared side burner, to doing a chicken or turkey breast on the rotisserie. My only detractions would be getting used to the heat and cook times compared to my previous grill and the drippings collection system doesn't seem to funnel stuff down very well. Overall a terrific product and I look forward to years of grilling on it.

Does not heat evenly. Does not retain heat if you open and shut the lid. No light which makes it very hard to see.

When the lid is opened, heat will naturally escape, however the unit should heat back up to desired temperature fairly quickly once the lid is shut again. This is a very high-quality grill. I saw this in a showroom and was fascinated by the cast stainless cast grill inserts. In use they work well for grilling, however they are such a pain to keep clean. You cannot simply use a grill brush as it doesn't reach the sides. If I was to do this over, I would purchase the cheaper stainless-steel version. In my opinion I gained nothing from buying the cast grill inserts. The flat black finish requires cleaning after each use. Do not misunderstand me I love this grill.

Hi Mike. Napoleon does not make conversion kits for any of the Phantom grills, and will void any warranty if converted.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
