What a great accessory. It allows me to cook with charcoal on one side and gas at the same time on the other. I use and recommend using lump charcoal to reduce the amount of ash.

I purchased this tray with the smoke chip box as a replacement tray for the cheaper one that didn't last long for my grill

Really like the option to use charcoal or wood chips in the grill but unfortunately this piece of untreated cast iron has corroded and layers are coming off as it oxidizes.

Your feedback is important to us and will help us improve our products. Please note that, like all cast iron products, our charcoal tray requires seasoning. We recommend seasoning the cast iron with a heavy oil or lard. Apply the oil, bake it on, and then allow it to cool before adding the charcoal and wood chips. This process will help prevent deterioration if the tray is not properly seasoned.Thanks

I have every type of grill you can think of, charcoal, griddle, smoker, gas etc. I bought this to see if I could simplify my grilling life by getting rid of my charcoal grill. Truth be known I didn't get rid of my charcoal grill but I absolutely love this addition to my napoleon grill. I can have the charcoal flavor sere and cook other things all while just using one grill. Can get a little messy to clean but what charcoal grill isn't.

A great addition to my Napoleon grill. Fits perfectly as expected. I just put in a bit of charcoal without overfilling it, and I filled the corner box with soaked apple chips. This was perfect and made for some great smoked wings.

I like the concept of this product, actually have used quite a bit. That said, mine is coming up on a year old and it is rusting some fierce. The small triangle portion that is for the smoking wood chips doesnt ignite the chips well, in turn wasting most of my chips I purchased through here. All in all its a great idea, and I would also like to see it where you can reinstall the grate over the top.

Purchased this when I purchased my grill absolutely one of the best purchases I've made I do not have a smoker, but this ad such a great taste and flavor of smoke that you would think I cook my meats on a smoker I did not know that I could add photos, so I apologize I do not have any but next time I use it, I will post them

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
