Haven't tried it quite yet. But my wife and I used our old one for about 40 years and were looking forward to more ... until our snow-removal guy ran his plow into it last winter. (My fault; I left it in the way.) So I expect we'll love using this one, almost identical, for years to come. Anxious to see how the "new" (to us) heat shield on the upper handle works. One suggested design improvement: Add a small hole at the bottom of the ash-catcher bowl, so rainwater can drain out between uses - perhaps with a rotating hole cover underneath, for when no hole is wanted.

Why don't you use American steel. It wears down too quickly. If this grill doesn't last, it will be the last Weber grill I will buy.

I've used many grills and smokers in 31 years of cooking and the Webber kettle is by far the best all around grill you can buy. I don't know how many I have owned over the years but I do know there will always be one of these at my home. They cook great and are very affordable. From steaks and chicken to even smoking boston butts, you can do it all with this grill.

Everything I wanted in a grill. Solid construction, quality materials. The last Weber 22" grill lasted 8 years. Would have lasted longer if didn't leave it uncovered when not in use.

The Weber kettle grill has been around for decades, however I imagine not quite as built now. The "kettle" part seems excellent, heavy and well coated, however the legs and wheels leave a bit to be desired. If the legs were any thinner, you could use them as "tin foil". The assembly with the push it lock buttons was convenient, but I own wrenches and would have preferred a more substantial fitment. The features of the grill are nice, handle heat guards and the ash cleaner is great. I'm happy with the purchase, but seriously doubt if I will be handing this down to my children or grandchildren as fathers did 50 years ago.

Best Charcoal grill for the money. There are a few YouTube videos from people showing the different ways to set up the grill for cooking. Doing what I learned has allowed me to cook some great tasting meats and veggies using this grill.

It cooks great and easy to use. I know I will eventually gain a better control over the temperature. Only complaint is the cooking grate is a pain to clean, feels like I'm going to bend it while scrubbing. I wish it had butt welds holding it together instead of the lap welds; this way it would also be smooth.

This grill is my third Weber grill. My 1st one lasted 20 years! It fell off of a truck and the handle broke off the lid. It was riveted on, and could not be replaced. The new design has a replaceable handle. My 2nd was a Smokey Joe. I could cook for 10 people by layering the food! My new Weber conserves charcoal! By closing the dampers, I can put out the fire and leave the coals til next time. They stay dry even in torrential rain, and I just light them up the next time. I get 4 to five uses out of each batch of charcoal! I may add a few here and there, but the grill will pay for itself this first summer. I love my Weber grill!

Does everyting I expected from it. Only one issue. I have to question the reliability of the stamped metal "nuts" supplied to attach the handle to the lid. The thin metal barely engages one thread. I got some proper 1/4-20 flange nuts to do the job right.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
