I can't seem to get it to heat up. I have changed out the charcoal, I have tried different vent settings, I have tried different quantities of charcoal and where it is placed in the grill. It just never seems to reach a searing temperature. It took 10 to 15 minutes for charcoal to get started and then another 1 hour and 20 minutes to cook 6 chicken thighs the other evening. I have friends with the bigger Webber and they have no problem. I just need to figure out if it's the grill or me.

Nothing beats a good ole Weber Grill. This was a replacement for basically the same grill that we had for 40 plus years.

Have been using Weber kettle grills as long as I can remember. Started with the 18 inch and as family grew moved to the 22 inch. I now also have the Weber Spirit gas grill, so now I'm ready with gas or charcoal!

A classic with some minor tweeks to the original design. The tweeks are; improvements to the attachment of the ash tray to the legs, and the lower vent closure incorporating an ash sweeping action.

This is my fourth Weber since 1973, The first on was the 18 inches, after that I realized I needed the bigger model. Use it all year round, we live in Minnesota. The one thing that I preferred on the older models was that they had two handles.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
