I've been using Weber grills for at least 50 years. My previous grill lasted more than 30 years until the handle rusted out. Weber's made some design changes since then: the air slots are larger (good); the cover handle turned 90 degrees from the older grill (bad); the handles are made of plastic now (good); there is only one handle on the kettle (bad! it needs two!!!).

I've always owned a Weber charcoal grill and with good care to the grill , they last a good while.

In all the years i have buying and using Weber Kettles. This is the worst experience ive had had. Bought a new Kettle as i do when needed. This unit did not have the Handle,nut,and screw For the base of the unit. I called customer service. The young Lady, while very nice explained to me that the Handle for the cover snd Base were the same. "They are not" at least in this case you can not get a screw driverr on the back side to secure the outer side does not have an opening for it. I explain this to her during our phone call and her response to me was I was wrong. So they shipped the cover handle to me and lo and behold it does not work very dissatisfied with this purchase to say the least

I've had Weber's for the last 35 years. Gas for the last 25. I decided to give charcoal a try again so I bought a Webber.

This grill is nearly perfect. It could use a better catch system for the ash and a thermometer that being said the steel is thick so it holds the temperature well and the vents let it breathe well so it's easy to adjust your temperature. all in all I love this grill.

I was so disappointed! After having a kettle grill for my adult life I had to replace my old faithful. The top did not fit on the new one! Twice!

Lid doesn't fit tight. More smoke comes out around lid than upper vent. Charcoal can't be dampered and saved for the next cook due to air leaks. Should come with hinged cooking grate. That's a no-brainer for any cook.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
