I love Weber products, and love their kettle grills. I just had a bad experience with my new 22 inch kettle. It came damaged on the box. Lid has a dent on the side and make it not sit flush on top of the grill. It's lopsided now due to the dent. The grill itself also seems to have been pressed on or squeezed between something during transit because it is not a circle, it came more oval than anything else. I had to manipulate it to be as circular as possible. It was too much to return it online since I had a cookout that same day. But this is just one bad experience and my last Weber grill was great! Just want that to be clear.

The assembly is simple and quick. The legs attach with a locking release button that older models didn't have. The new design also includes a heat guard on the lid handle. The only issue I ran into was the handle placement in relationship to the hook on the inside of the lid. I remounted the handle at 90 degrees from the factory location to have a better grip of the lid while resting the lid on the hook.

My wife and I owned a the large Weber kettle grill 25 yrs ago and ended up leaving it at our old house when we sold it . We then bought a Weber Gas grill as time went by we missed the flavor that we had gotten from a charcoal grill. We purchased another Weber kettle grill and now our gas sits under its cover.

Great grill as always, replced Weber i had about 20 years. Only complaint is that it came out of box with a small dent in the lid right where it sits on bottom piece so it doesnt sit perfectly flat. Already has small bit of rust where dent is. Probably still last 10 years though. Love Weber products.

I purchased this new Original Kettle Charcoal Grill 22" to replace my 30 year old Original Kettle Charcoal Grill 22" and am just as pleased with the performance of this new grill as I was with my prior grill. I enjoy the clean out/vent feature as a improvement. Great grill!!!

The grill is great. Easy set up. Only issue, bottom charcoal plate has no outlet for rain water. As a functional design if Weber would design an opening, like the top vent opening, that would allow water to drain it would be wonderful.

I recently had to throw out a 10+ year old Weber. This replacement is not 1/3 the quality.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
