Like the new digital display and the ability to control the temperature. The try on the side is a perfect size as it's just me and my wife now and not cooking as many big meals. Haven't got to creative yet with it but looking forward to it. Previous Weber we had was a wedding gift 26 years ago.

I'm enjoying this grill/smoker more with every recipe I've tried. It's easy to cook and easy to use. My foods are cooked perfectly, evenly and with the timing technology built in I can count on a perfect meal!

Excellent unit with many great features! Please consider allowing users to modify recipes within the App. When you have a 3lb Boston Butt & the Smart Recipe on the app is for 4-6lb. Or even to create your own Smart Recipe to use regularly, and/or share with other users!

Think twice about buying grill. I found that the lower vents do not close all the way. I called support sent them video and pictures of the problem they sent me a new one touch cleaning system. Still had the same problem. After a few phone calls they said that was by design to prevent mold. I don't believe that. So the problem is the coals wont extinguish and be used on the next cook.

This grill performs extremely well I own the 18 inch before and I did everything from prime rib to hotdog on it now this grill I am going to really enjoy because it is smart. I've done a couple steaks on it already and enjoy the thermometer. I enjoy the meat thermometer and it tells me when to go pick it up. I've done potatoes and vegetables. Wonderful grill wonderful grill.

I am loving this Weber I received to try out and give my review. Super easy to get the grill going, heats up great and cooks everything evenly. The built in table charcoal starter makes my grilling time so much easier. Definitely a solid grill for weekend cookouts with friends and family.

I bought an 18 inch Performer over 20 years ago. It is still my go to grill. I am ordering the Smart Performer. Now I will have 2. Prime Rib here I come. The 18 in. does a 4 lb Rib Roast. I used hard wood chucks.

This grill is a great upgrade and delivers excellent performance l. It heats up quickly and holds steady temperature, which makes cooking much more consistent and takes the guesswork out of charcoal grilling. The digital fan control is a standout feature because it keeps the heat exactly where you want it without constant adjustments. It works just as well for quick meals as it does for longer cooks, and the results come out evenly cooked with great flavor. It he built in prep space is very convincing and makes the whole setup more efficient. Being able to monitor and adjust the grill from my previous home adds another level of easy, especially during longer cooks. Overall, it combines the classic charcoal experience with smart features that actually make a difference. It's reliable , easy to use and delivers great results every time.

We have this Weber Grill to use at our vacation condo, wanted to use something smaller at that property. This is the perfect size. Its assembly was easy, I actually had my Senior mother help put it together and she did a great job. It cooked nice and evenly. Great inclusion of temperature control and gauge that is such an awesome new addition to a charcoal grill. This is my 3rd Weber grill, the quality I believe is unmatched as this brand never disappoints!

I recently received the Weber 22" Performer Smart Charcoal Grill. Assembly was mostly straight forward, though there are a few steps that could have been clearer. My instructions had an addendum due to part numbers being reversed in one step. The recommended Bilt app doesn't list the Performer, so hopefully that changes soon. Being able to monitor temperature from my phone takes a lot of the guesswork out, especially on longer cooks. It gives me more confidence to step away without worrying that the heat is going to spike or drop too much. While the advanced features of the app lack customization on some items, the core features still perform very well and have a low learning curve. It still delivers that hands on charcoal experience, which I like. Lighting the coals and dialing in the vents feels familiar, but the added guidance from the app makes it easier to stay consistent. The grill heats evenly and holds temperature better than I expected, even during longer sessions like the 15 hour brisket I broke it in with. The cook surface has hinge slots on opposite sides to allow for easier refilling of charcoal during cooking sessions. The built in lid holder is simplistic, but honestly one of my favorite features. The workspace is another big plus. The side table gives me plenty of room to prep, set down trays, and keep tools within reach. It makes the whole process feel more organized instead of juggling everything around the grill. The cart design also feels sturdy and easy to move when needed. While I wish there was a bit more room under the grill for storage, it has a decent amount of room for the essentials. Cleanup is also easier than I expected thanks to the ash management system. It keeps most of the mess contained and makes post cook cleanup quicker. Overall, it feels like a well thought out upgrade for anyone who enjoys charcoal grilling but wants a little more control and convenience without losing that classic flavor.
