I enjoy how easy it is to fire up and get up to temp. I played with it to see how easy it is to increase & decrease temp and I really liked it. The only thing I would like is a rotisserie option. I could not find one for this model. So far this is the only issue that I have.
I've had it for a few years and have had more problems than I care to deal with. Have to use weber pellets, randomly drops temperature and has to re ignite. Pit boss will be my next purchase.

Ignite issues. Now a motor failure. Barely a year old.

So far so good, after making pulled pork, beef plate ribs, baby back, spare ribs, prime rib roast still determining best rack placement for meat and water trays. Hoods a little lose now but the rest of the grill is in great shape and working really well.
Too much hand holding needed. Worst Weber product ever. Constantly flames out, wifi bugs out, pellet shoot bogs down on full load of pellets and flames out. Now I find out after buying this hunk of steel Weber's decided to bail out and come up with Searwood on the backs of us poor suckers who bought the Smokefire! Give us a trade-in!

Junk- feeder has never worked consistently and the unit must be checked every 3-5 minutes or it shuts down. I performed excellent maintenance and it has gotten worse over time.

Assembly, burn-in and WiFi connections all went well. Following the instructions are good, only missing a few more details would've been helpful. First cook @200 went great. Second cook I decided to use the SuperSmoke option, but realized the user does not set the low temperature, it's automatic @180. [1] No cold smoking on this unit as temperature doesn't go to 160 as advertised. [2] Using SuperSmoke shortens lifespan of glow plug. I can't afforded to use one glow plug per SuperSmoke session. After multiple 'Flame-outs' during cooks, I'm considering Opt.1 - Never use SuperSmoke or Opt. 2 - Sell and purchase a more reliable brand smoker.

Your feedback is very important to us. We are so sorry to hear you are having an issue with Smoke boost setting on your SmokeFire grill. We will look into this for you and have a member of our Pellet team reach out to assist you further. Please look for an outreach email from us soon. Thank you!
Awesome grill. Heats up fast and cooks evenly. Smoked ribs turned out perfect 250 degrees using the 3,2,1 method.
The BEST pellet grill I've ever used. Hands down. Other pellet grills lack flavor….the SmokeFire reminds me of the kettle flavor.
I love weber but I had to send back after multiple problems and later found out that they are common (mostly fire not starting properly and timing out which is horrible when you have a lot of meat waiting and guest booked). After 4 smokes (started pellets with a small starter each time to make sure it worked), the motor went out. I had to return. They stood behind the product but what a hassle to assemble and then send back...

Questions & Answers
Hi Gerald. Weber SmokeFire grills all come with WiFi, but you don't have to use the WiFi capabilities in order to grill.
Asked by gerald | Answered by Joey, BBQGuys ExpertHi Raymond. There was an issue with this grill making a lot of grease when it first released, but Weber has addressed the issue and made several improvements to ensure everyone's experience with this grill is top-notch.
Asked by Raymond | Answered by HunterHi Eric! No, you would need to use hardwood pellets in this grill.
Asked by Eric | Answered by TiffanyHi Vonhess. The Smoke Boost feature has not yet been released by Weber. Unfortunately, they have not given a date for when it will be available.
Asked by Vonhess | Answered by RyanHi Rob. You can set a temperature to receive a notification on your app. There are also preset cooking programs available. There is no auto-shutoff.
Asked by Rob | Answered by JoeyHi there, this grill comes with two probes, one for food temperature and one for ambient temperature. The controller can hold up to 4 probes which can be purchased separately.
Asked by Cromag | Answered by RosaHi James - To use the "Smoke Boost" feature, you select it at the start of your cook - this makes the pellets smoke and smolder at a temperature of 165-200°. This is used to add an extra smokey flavor to your food. It has not been released yet, but will be released to the Weber Connect app at a later date.
Asked by James | Answered by NickHey JD! Bottom grate: 648 In. (18” X 36”) Top Grate: 360 In. (10” X 36”) Hope this information helps!
Asked by JD | Answered by LukeHi Cromag. There isn't a dedicated button on the SmokeFire to create more smoke, but Weber has announced an upcoming smoke boost feature that will generate more smoke at the beginning of a cook. Unfortunately, Weber has not given a release date for this feature yet.
Asked by Cromag | Answered by RyanHi Mike, the Weber SmokeFire does not support the use of a rotisserie.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.

30-Day Returns
Return all new, unused, and unassembled items in their original packaging, and we'll give you a full refund minus the cost of the original AND return shipping.
No Restocking Fee
Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.
