Love this charcoal, it's the only kind I buy. Big block always has a lot of large chunks for slow burns while smoking. This is my go too charcoal.

This is absolutely the best lump charcoal there is. I go out of my way to buy it every time I need to stock up. When you're investing $$$ on meat and your smoker, you also need to invest in good quality lump and this is the best there is.

The KJ Big Block XL Lump Charcoal is, by far, my preferred lump for my Classic Joe cooks! Nothing worse than getting a new bag of other lump charcoals and finding it mostly crumbs, its a Royal rip off! I have never had this problem with Big Block XL Lump Charcoal. Great lump, I highly recommend this product.

I made a huge purchase and bought multiple bags because I'm such a huge fan. I use a starter to light it up in a chimney and it burns slowly and perfectly every time! I love the smell of this charcoal and it breaks up very nicely when it burns.

Good mix and consistency of lump sizes. Mostly medium to large with a few very large pieces in each bag. Works great for grilling and low slow smokes. Very little smokiness with the charcoal allowing for fine control of smoke with wood.

I only use Kamado Big Block for my cooks. Real wood chunks that burn hot and slow. Won't use anything else.

No, you do not have to use Joe charcoal with your Komodo Joe. But.... the quality is there. It is excellent charcoal, lights quickly and maintains its fire. Highly recommend.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
