Kamado Joe excels in providing the essential grilling accessories to enhance your backyard BBQ experience. Create delicious, restaurant-quality pizza on your Kamado grill with this Kamado Joe pizza stone. This ceramic pizza stone distributes heat evenly while absorbing excess moisture for pizza that comes out hot, full of flavor and with a crispy crust. Use it to bake bread, casseroles and just about anything you bake in an indoor oven. The pizza stone arrives ready to use, and does not need to be seasoned with any type of cooking oil. To clean the pizza stone, simply brush it off with a wire BBQ brush and store in a dry area. Cleaning off residual food is as easy as flipping the ceramic plate over so heat from the charcoal fire burns away any remaining food particles. Cleaning solutions should not be used, since they can be absorbed into the stone. The Pizza Stone must be used with the Kamado Joe Heat Deflector to avoid burning the pizza. This pizza stone is designed for use with Kamado Joe Big Joe II & III grills.

I was considering getting a separate pizza oven, but the dome of the kamado joe with this pizza stone gets the job done. Makes a great pizza but make sure you get the grill really hot for a fast bake.

Making pizza on the KJ has become a family event! Each person makes half of a pizza with their own ingredients then we cook it on the stone! Perfect every time!

My previous pizza stone cracked so I picked up the KJ one and have done several cooks with it. Works great. Timely request for feedback, just made 4 pizza's last night. I live in Sarasota, FL, came here from CT, the home of Pepe's and Salli's apizza. My KJ let's me get the crust to a close approximation of what I was used to back in CT. If you like pizza and have a KJ, this pizza stone should be a staple in your arsenal. I gave design 4 stars because I'd like the stone to be a bit larger.

No complaints! We have a little learning curve to overcome, but we are looking forward to perfecting our pizza making skills. BBQ Guys also deserves a great review. Hi Judy, this pizza stone will work on a stove top, however, it could damage the cooktop surface if it's made of glass or ceramic. Cooking directly on stove burners can also cause more wear and tear to the stone due to the intense direct heat. They do work great in the oven though!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
