This is the best grill ever created. The easy propane for starting charcoal is genius!!

This is the third grill I've had from Weber. I rebuilt the last one twice, but then I saw holes is the bottom of the kettle, I thought I needed a new one. 20-25 years old, it did it's duty. This is a vast improvement over the one I most recently had. It has the same ignition source, the same disposal of the spent charcoal, and more or less the same charcoal "separator" for the ignition of the charcoal. The differences are the the gas, which use to come in a rechargeable small gas container, and the ingniter button. And I wish they provided the stainless steel, which my old one had. But I chose the one with the electronic timer. I use it to time the 5 or 6 minutes it takes to light the charcoal. You can use it for anything. And the grill is much more functional.

This is my second Weber grill with the same set up. The first one is 20 years old and still working great at our beach house. Weber makes is easy to buy replacement grills and part. Bought a converter hose to use a 5 gallon propane tank to start the charcoal to reduce need to buy the smaller tanks.

The ignitor doesn't spark. I called customer service and was told a new one was being mai. This was approximately three weeks ago.

My third Weber Performer Deluxe is great. I have a pellet grill, but BBQ'ing wouldn't be complete without my Weber.

I purchased a Weber Performance Deluxe Grill from BBQguys and I received it with over half of the needed parts for assembly missing. BBQguys proceeded to avoid my issue by directing me to the manufacturer Weber. Weber shipped me some of the missing pieces parts but I'm still missing at least 13 items needed for assembly. It appears that someone may have returned this grill to BBQguys without all the parts. BBQguys apparently keeps no records of receiving/shipping inventory like most professional distributors do. At this point I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint as Weber is treating me like I stole the grill and their customer service has been disastrous. I've spent a lot of time taking pictures, verifying tracking numbers and creating itemized lists of the missing items for the grill. I recommend others to not do business with Weber/BBQguys based on my experience.

I like that it has a gas starter. It makes starting the grill so much easier.

I bought this grill for my daughter at Christmas. Since she had it, I had to get a new igniter and now the grill won't shut off and all the gas leaks out every time she uses it she needs to get a new tank of gas. I told her to take the tank off after each time. This is ridiculous. She shouldn't have to do this..

It is by far the funnest, best tasting bbq I've ever done. This is by far the best choice I've ever made purchasing a new bbq.

I've had a poor experience with Weber. I received 1/3 of the parts needed for this grill. I was able to get Weber to send me a few of the missing parts, but I'm still missing a lot more. I essentially have an unassembled grill that can't be used. At this point I'm considering buying all these missing parts and taking a loss. I would recommend choosing other manufacturers who keep better inventory/shipping records, so you can at least get a complete grill.
