This fireplace insert is the answer to your old, inefficient masonry fireplace. Retrofit your fully operational wood burning fireplace with the Napoleon insert, and you can achieve luxurious radiating fires with minimal work and wood. Designed to save you precious time and money, Napoleon wood burning inserts will give you a natural roaring fire with incomparable efficiencies! This wood burning fireplace insert features two Whisper Quiet heat circulating blowers that will not disrupt the ambiance of your get together, thermostatic sensor that means you can set your desired temperature and let the thermostat do the work, and fully refractory lined firebox similar to a kiln to maintain the interior temperature that is necessary to achieve lower emissions. EPA approved with emissions as low as 3. 5 grams per hour, so you can achieve more heat with substantially less fuel. The easy operation of a single lever burn control regulates primary and secondary air to establish a perfect air mixture and provide a clean burn. A secondary air tube insulated with ceramic fiber and protected with a stainless steel cover plate ensures complete combustion and maximum efficiency. This fireplace insert has an effective air wash that, in combination with high temperatures, keeps the high heat ceramic viewing glass clean without any fuss. The non-catalytic high tech design eliminates the need for delicate catalytic components which are known to deteriorate over time. Optional cast iron surround kits are available to compliment any home and hearth decor. With a maximum log size of 18 inches, this wood burning insert is capable of heating approximately 800 - 2000 square-feet. The Napoleon EPI-1402P fireplace insert is EPA approved for overall maximum heating efficiency, which means you can achieve more heat with substantially less fuel. Napoleon delivers safety through functional products that have been both CSA and ANSI certified. Dimensions (in inches): 22 7/8 D x 44 1/2 W x 32 H. This fireplace insert requires a door to complete installation.

| Works Great in the UP!.....My In laws live on a farm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I'm born and raised in Atlanta. When I heard what they bought, I thought they got taken. When I got up there and Saw the thing working...I Loved it!.....You can watch the flames curl for hours while it heats the house for you. My wife and I are considering one for here in Atlanta. | Great wood stoveWe bought our Napoleon Oakdale in 2006 and have used it every winter to heat our home. Stove is great and puts out a lot of heat. | warm and safeWe had a free standing wood burner and lost our home to a house fire. I was hesitant to get another wood burner but liked the fact that this was built into our fireplace and the stove pipe went through our masonry chimney.
