This Americana by Meco electric tabletop grill has a 1500-watt heating element that plugs into a standard household outlet. This electric grill features a thermostat control with a low-medium-high setting, a reflector pan that directs heat to the cooking surface, and a pre-assembled grill hood and bowl. The three-position cooking element provides a versatile cooking experience by allowing direct and indirect cooking. The porcelain-coated cooking grate provides 202 square inches of usable cooking surface. This grill is safe, simple, easy to clean, and just the right size to accommodate many spaces. This grill requires a minimum of 15 amps and standard 120-volt grounded plug. Americana by Meco electric grills are UL-listed (Canada: CUL-listed) and for outdoor BBQ use only!

Great grill, great factory supportI've had this grill for many years. Recently there was an electrical failure in the control, and the factory sent me a box to return the failed controller along with the element. Just received replacements, no questions asked. Very polite and wanted to make it right. I am very impressed, and definitely recommend this grill. We use it often - electric is super easy, don't run out of fuel, no tank to chase around. Just on to cook and off when done. Specializing in salmon, grilled skin-side down, 8-12 minutes depending on thickness. Only salt and pepper. Excellent! I would buy this product againYou really have to learn how to cook on this grill. It will sear the food but you have to let it get hot on 3 with the lid down for 10-15 minutes before you start the sear. I also cook with the lid down. You just can't get enough heat when you don't have it down. I loved it once I understood how to use it. The HOA said no gas grills on the balcony so I had to go electric. I've had this one for 4 years and I take it apart and clean it every 3 or 4 months depending on how often I use it. Easy to take apart. Be careful and clean the burner holders well and carefully. That is the only thing that's broken so far and I used a piece of wire to fix it. Most likely my fault. | Was This Helpful? | |
