This has been a great little grill for camping. Plenty of grilling space for a family of four. It has been easy to clean so far.

We sometimes grill out at the beach and this grill is perfect for that. I'm very happy with it. My only complaint is not related to the grill bit to cleaning it. Salt air and water are rough on metal and I have to thoroughly rinse and clean off the grill between each use to prevent rust and prolong its life here at the beach. Hey Weber, would you consider making an all stainless version of this grill?

I was comparing the Smokey Joe, Jumbo Joe, and Go Anywhere, and created a list of pros and cons for each. Since I couldn't buy all three, I had to make the difficult decision in choosing which one to buy. I chose the Go Anywhere because of it's portability, design, and price. I liked the design because i felt that i could get a hot and cool side, having two dampers on the lid and the multiple vents on the bottom of each side. I felt this was worth sacrificing the cooking space Jumbo Joe has and the classic kettle shape Smokey Joe has. It holds the heat well yet cools off quickly when done cooking. I do not like how the lid handle doesnt have a heat shield. That grill can get very hot and the handle seems to retain a lot of that heat, making it extremely hot. The side handles get hot but not like the lid handle. I see some models come with a heat-shield handle and feel they all should. The bottom vent handles get extremely hot and make it very difficult to maneuver while cooking. I use the compact chimney starter and dont fill it to the top. The bottom vent on one side slides up and down perfectly but the other side is difficult. It rubs against the bowl and scraped off some paint. I truly want to like this grill but dont feel that is going to happen.

I haven't taken it camping yet which is why I bought it. I tried it at home and I think it is going to be perfect. Compact, easy to store and to transport. The locking lid makes it transport cleanly. All in all I think it will be the perfect travel/camping bbq.

This is the ultimate travel and/or backyard grill. The rectangular shape is idle for grilling food. It permits direct heat or indirect and lots of room for meat & veggies.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
