This grill is the best there is. This was a replacement for previous weber grill we had and cooked on regularly for 8 years. And the only reason we replaced it was because the bottom burned out. Cooks food great.

great grill, great size for making efficient use of charcoal. My 2 cents: (1) would like to see a premium version of the 18" offered. including a temperature gauge built into the lid and the premium shielded ash catcher as standard. (2) I'd like the lower grate to incorporate tabs to hold the water bowl / drippings catcher from my Smokey mountain 14".... and offer that drip / water pan as standard equipment with premium version and aftermarket item for the classic 18" Weber kettle. The welding was so off that it was impossible to insert the metal legs into the holes on the kettle. They simply would not fit. Also one of the bolts for the handle was defective.

This was a replacement grill for a smaller smokey joe. It fits great in our RV, Plenty of cooking area for the 2 of us and more. Also purchased the ash container attachment. excellent to catch ashes and dispose of.

I had a pretty nice gas grill for years but the upkeep can get a bit wearisome. When it came time for a new grill, I went back to Weber. I forgot how easy it is to grill, not as much maintenance and there's definitely something about charcoal cooking that makes food taste great!

I found this grill at the curb around the corner and up the street from me last Fall and spent the Winter refurbishing it (the neighbor upgraded to a 22-inch Weber model of some sort). I had to buy a new bottom vent/ash cleaner (#7443), which was very corroded, and a new food grate (also corroded and pitted), which I was going to do anyway - I wanted one with hinged sides, for replenishing charcoal (#7433). Since then, I've also bought a little Weber tool hook that hangs on the side and holds four tools (#7401), an apron (#6533) and gloves (#6535), the three-piece tool set (spatula, tongs, and fork)(#6630), a wire brush (#6493) and another manufacturer's steel wool-type brush (recommended by "America's Test Kitchen" but the "Primal Grill" guy likes the Weber style, with the bristles secured in "twisted wire" so you don't get steel bristles on your food), and a set of charcoal baskets (#7403). I have been having a lot of fun grilling things this past Summer. The 18-inch is perfect for just two people. I would like an 18-inch food grate with a removable center, like the 22-inch Gourmet BBQ System grate has, so I could use a round-bottom wok. I've got my eye on the 22-inch Performer #15401001, more grill than I need . . . but I want one!

I have had this little grill for about three weeks. In that time there has only been 2 days where I did not cook something on my grill. I love it. My only wish is that the side-opening grill grate came standard on the 18.5 model.

This was my first charcoal grill. It may be the smaller one but it heats up quick and Cook's very nicely. I have since upgraded to a bigger kettle but love this little grill!

Received my grill from a raffle. It turned out to be a display model. It was real but didn't include all the parts. Weber customer service was above my expectations. Missing parts received at no additional cost to me. Thank y'all very much.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
