I inherited my original 18"" kettle from my mom. Love it except for the ash catcher is hard to empty. I have never figured it out. Am I supposed to remove it?

It's a great basic charcoal grill. You can't go wrong with Weber. The reason I can't give this item 5 stars is because it was missing the screw that attaches the handle on the side/front of the grill, but I had one that worked so it wasn't a big problem. And yes, I checked and double checked all packaging. Probably 3 or 4 times actually. Otherwise, it performs as it should. Ordering from their website was easy and it shipped pretty quickly with good communication along the way.

The Weber 18" is a classic. This is the third one I've owned over my life and there are no surprises. A few little enhancements here and there, but overall the same great grill.

Nice grill. Tight. Small. Feels a little fragile. Would be great if there were a place to hang grilling tools that didn't get them so hot.

Hi have tried calling ,I have tried emailing ,I have tried leaving a message on Weber's Facebook page ,I received my Weber but there was a piece missing it has already been a month I think maybe more ,would like to use our new grill ,but we can't seem to get you to send the missing part,very frustrating

I bought this yesterday and assembled this morning. With the BILT 3D app it took about 30 minutes and I was not rushing. Everything fit perfectly and there were no missing parts. I will get back after my first grilling experience today. Enjoy your Memorial Day !!

Difficult to assemble. Instuctions shows pictures only need more detailed. Downloaded a manual it showed the opposite to assemble. Don't have a modern phone to get app for BILT. Had to get help to assemble it. He had problems. Have not tried it out yet.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
