We are empty nesters and I hated building a huge fire to cook 2 pork chops. I own all things Weber and decided to try this one. It is perfect and has quickly become my favorite Weber. Great heat control and cleans up like a dream. No flare ups and grills more food than I thought it would. I've done 2 whole chicken legs alongside 2 veggie kabobs with room to spare. Great grill.

I purchased a 14 inch smokey Joe some months ago. The bottom rotating damper was way too tight and could easily caused a disaster from trying to close it. I did write to you regarding the problem but never heard back. The fist one was fine but not the second. I ended up drilling out the bottom rivet which was way too tight and replacing it with a bolt for proper operation. This is definitely a quality control problem and you should be ashamed to place the product on the market considering if a person tried to close the tight bottom damper, they could easily have turned the grill over. I was going to report this issue to the Washington State Consumer Affairs Division. but after I corrected the problem I'm just using it. The rivets were way TOO TIGHT!!!

This is the 4th of these grills I've purchased over the years, because I grill out year-round here in Michigan. Love the new bracket that secures the lid. Much easier to move around when needed. One thing Weber could add to this 14" charcoal grill is a thermostat on the grill cover, like on my larger Weber. Get with it Weber. You could even sell an aftermarket grill lid with the new thermostat in the lid. I'd buy one! Please get it done!

We have had for 2 weeks and can still BBQ on it because the grate tilts back and forth. Have contacted and sent photos to Weber regarding the issue. And still no resolution to the problem!

Overall, it's a nice grill. Perfect size for us. There are only two things I would like to see improved. First, an extension on the lower vent that would make it easier to operate during a cook. I'll figure something out. Two, a better fitting top grate. The cooking grate on my Smokey Joe seems too loose. Maybe another 1/4" larger in diameter for a better fit.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
