Weber Traveler Compact Portable Propane Grill - Black - 1501741

Day 1 I opened the box just enough to get out the owner's manual to double check whether a 20# tank could be used with this grill, using the #6501 adapter. No mention of any tanks except the 1# tank. I had to reach out via email, contact us, to get an answer. I will say that Weber was fast to respond. And their answer was yes, this grill can use 20# tanks with an adapter. Day 2 I just unpacked the grill, trying to follow the assembly instructions in the booklet previously mentioned, and not all of the parts required to get the grill standing were in the box. Turns out that you have to manually lift the grill just enough to get the lid open and there were the additional parts needed to get the grill standing, cotter pins, wheel hubs, etc. I am astonished that Weber doesn't have better assembly instructions or that they pack the grill with accessible parts in the box, not under the grill cover. I'm able to lift the grill to get them out, but what about older folks, or those that may not be able to lift the grill, who do not have sufficient strength? It's just poorly done.

This a a great BBQ I use it on my deck as wanted something smaller. Perfect size and able to grill at least 8 burgers and grilled steaks perfect. Only problem the igniter failed to ignite on two occasions but I might have done something wrong. Will look into that. But overall I am very pleased

Weber quality as expected. Great grill for small family, actually larger than I expected. Wanted a small grill and this one is perfect. No assembly required except for the wheels.

The grill cooks evenly and is a clever design. However, be very careful when lifting and lowering the grill! And do not push the grill down when you are lowering it or it might break like mine did on the first use! Instead, let it lower slowly on its own. Dealing with Weber customer service to replace these part was a nightmare. They did not have proper instructions for replacing all the parts. And one of the replacement parts they sent me initially was broken and I had to have another one sent, which finally worked. They refused to replace the grill completely and would only offer me replacement parts or to return the grill. I ultimately kept it after 5+ hours of trauma bonding with it (dealing with customer service and replacing the parts myself). It's a good little grill once everything is in working order.

I received this free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Weber Grills are top notch grills and this Weber Traveler Compact Portable Gas Grill is no exception to the rule. It came fully set up minus the wheels so a very quick set up. The functionality of raising and lowering the grill was a breeze. Just a quick click and down it lowers on hydraulics. Locks in place and then just wheel it away. Then just brace the leg and pull up to use. It did a great job of cooking the food all over the grill. I didn't really find a cold spot on the grill at all. Can't wait to use this camping now!

Influenster and Weber sent me this free for my opinion. Weber Traveler compact portable gas grill. Our family does so many outdoor activities away from home that this will be so good for us. The grill folds down to about four inches tall amd about four feet long, you could get it in the trunk of a car. Just make sure it's cold before putting it in. The grill takes those little green propane tanks so no lugging around a large tank either. This is a good grill for lake trips and camping or even a nice bbq at the park. The gas grill cooks even and has quite a large cooking surface for how small the bbq is. Great portable bbq that works good.

Purchased over a year ago and it's the best grill I've ever owned!!!

We were looking for a small portable BBQ for our 2nd home. We decided to buy this one because it was foldable and easy to store. We had use it 3 times by now and we love it! It cooks perfectly and the temperature control button at the top makes a difference. We are pleased so far!

I received this product complimentary for my honest review. This grill is easily a 5 out of 5. So why the lower ranking... the automatic lowering function. Its just not working, Ive found others with the issue. I've reached out to see if there's a way to fix. But overall this grill is lightweight, compact, easy to travel with. Great value, just needs to closing mechanism fixed!
