The grill arrived nicely packaged and everything inside was individually wrapped and protected well. The whole package was heavy and even during assembly you can tell the parts are sturdy and solid. It took time to put together and I could have not done it without my husband's help but the instructions were clear for the most part. Once assembled, the grill feels very well made. It heats up fast and cooks evenly. The sear zone is my favorite part because it gets really hot and gives great searing power. It unleashes 40% more power with one of the largest sear zone in its class. The Snap Jet ignition is very convenient and lets burners light easily with just a click. The porcelain-enameled cast iron grills are really heavy and distribute heat well. I also like the little details like the tool hooks on the side, warming rack, cabinet storage and scratch-resistant side tables for extra prep space. The drip-tray setup makes clean up a lot easier too. The Wi-Fi thermometer is a nice feature but we had trouble getting it connected. I also wish it included a side burner. Overall, it's a solid grill with strong performance, useful features and a sturdy build.

This grill came very well packaged. Even though it was rained on, everything in the box remained dry. It needed to be assembled, and my husband was able to follow the step-by-step instructions with ease. He said there was only a small issue where one of the parts came pre-assembled wrong and he needed to take it apart and fix it before continuing with the rest of the installation. Once fully assembled, this grill is really very nice. It's smaller than what we're used to, but it's the perfect size for our tiny family. It lights extremely easy and the design does a wonderful job to ensure no grease will clog it. It cooks hotter and faster that what we're used to, but that was nice because dinner was ready very quickly. I like the thermometer that comes on the grill and having the app for the smart functions is a plus. Overall, definitely a great grill!

The Weber EX-425C smart gas grill is an excellent addition for any backyard chef. It's the perfect size to feed 2-6 (not too big for a small fam but not too small for a larger gathering). The igniter is now part of the knob function and seems a little loud - it has a distinct pop to it, but the flame is immediate. The red boost burner knobs turn on the sear zone and deliver extra hot heat to create big bbq flavors. I like that the grill has two functions for this space versus the extra sear burner/knob my older Weber had. Very efficient and useful. The cook is excellent. I grilled marinated chicken tenderloins and veggies and a second cook of marinated kalbi short rib. The heat was even and cooked my small meats quickly, retaining juice even while searing. The grates were easy to clean after use and the grease catch is angled directional to allow grease and stuff to flow away and collect in the drip tray for easy disposal. It took me an hour or so to assemble and I needed help moving the giant box and lifting the tub onto the base I built but it was easy enough. I must have a screw crooked because the door latch sticks. It's not as heavy or sturdy as my old gas Weber, but it is much better and sturdier than other cheaper gas grills on the market. The only hangup was the technology. Specifically the built in digital thermometer. It took three days to dial in the wi-fi enable digital thermometer. Apparently the digital smart connect thermometer installed on the grill needs to update the firmware on the initial start up - using Bluetooth and wi-fi or it simply does not work leaving the grill without a temp guage. After many failed attempts to follow the included instructions to update the digital thermometer I learned that the iPhone 17 has a unique Bluetooth feature that prevents it from connecting fully to enable the firmware update install. Sadly connection and updating failed everytime on my iPhone even after finding info on the FAQ and troubleshooting the device, my network, and hard-resetting the digital device as suggested. While searching Weber FAQs for any related info I found that the issue was known and there is a workaround: another non-iPhone 17 device is necessary to install the required update. My older iPad was able to connect and update the firmware so the digital thermometer is able to turn on and read temps inside the grill and read the extra probe. Once updated it connects via the app on my iPhone 17 no prob. Not sure everyone will be have the ability to find the workaround, have an extra device or even the determination to make it work so Weber could include a note for iPhone 17 users about the issue on the install instructions or the owners manual. Looking forward to many great cooks on the Weber Spirit.

I've had it a few weeks and not been able to complete putting it together yet. First two of the wheels didn't stay in place so had to wait for replacements which Weber did organise so no complaints re customer service. When the replacement wheels and blocks arrived they fitted perfectly. However in the meantime the little piece that the door then has to sit on had got lost. It was an item in the first bag of parts to open, so kind of annoying. I will eventually get the grill put together and I'm confident it will be fantastic! We always buy Weber.

Love this grill! It did take two of us about two hours to assemble, but now that it's together, it's so great! It has its own app and WiFi enabled so you can check what the temperature is at wherever you want! Does a great job cooking meat. Didn't burn it or cook unevenly. Has a temperature gage on the outside to show you the temperature and it has one you can put into the food as well if you wanted to. The grill isn't too big and fits perfectly on our deck. Has an extra rack on top to cook buns or whatever else you want. Has wheels if you need to move it around to another area. Great value.

I love this grill! It's the perfect size, you can grill a lot of food or just a little. It's up to you. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. I like that it has wheels that lock into place, so you can easily move it or lock it into place. The app is awesome to use too. It's the nicest grill I've ever owned!
