Weber Spirit E-425C Propane Gas Grill - Black - 1502067

This replaced my old spirit that was still going strong after 15 years. This one has much more even cooking and more efficient use of propane. Two downsides. First is that the grill handle will burn your hand if it is in the sun. The stealth version has a cover on it which is a great idea. Second is the lack of a weight spring to estimate fuel level.

The grill is great, however the customer service is not. The two side panels came in dented. The packaging was perfect so I think it got packed damaged. As I was assembling I contacted customer service, at first it said the two panels were not in stock. When I spoke to someone, they said they were in stock and it would take at least a week to get to me. I had all parts sprawled out in my living room. I live in a townhouse and had nowhere to put them until the new parts came in. Also it was July 4th week and I wanted to use the new grill. I asked if they would offer a discount, they refused. So now I have a grill that works great with dented side panels.

Bought the spirit 425 and after assembling I realized it only has two wheels. Figured I would fight through it but now it's become a pain having to pick this heavy grill up just to move it. Why would they do this ? Better yet why did I buy this. College education gone to waste.

THE GRILL ITS SELF WORKS GREAT HAVE TO GET USE TO THE 4 BURNER COMPARED TO MY OLD WEBER 3 BURNER, SO FAR SO GOOD. BUT YOU CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN TERRIBLE , I NEED THE BLACK FACE THERMOMETER IN WHICH I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD SEND ME THE ITEM BUT STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THE ITEM, SPOKE WITH 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE BUT STILL PROBLEM HASN'T BEEN RESOLVED. AND I TRIED YOUR VIRTUAL SPOKES PERSON TWICE BUT NO RESOLUTION

I do not like the grill not having additional flavorizer bars between the flavorizer bars that are over the burners. My old Spirit grill had flavorizer bars between the flavorizer bars over the burners. The gap between the bars on the new Spirit grill allows the meat drippings to drop to the bottom of the grill and get collected in the drip pan. With additional bars between the burners, the drippings would be turned to smoke to further flavor the meat being cooked. I liked this in my old Spirit grill.

If you like to cook with the top open on your grill don't get this model. It doesn't get hot enough to cook burgers with the top open. I've been grilling a long time and I never cook burgers or steaks with the top closed but with this model you have no choice. I tried to return it but I used it once so they wouldn't let me. Then they told me I should cook with the top closed. So basically now I'm stuck with a $700 paperweight on my deck. Disappointed doesn't describe how I feel about this grill. I was fooled by the Weber name.

I was a bit scared when I opened the box and saw all the pieces, but it went together just fine. I do miss verbal instructions not just pictures as sometimes hard to interpret. Disappointed in the picture on the grill of the right side table. On that picture it shows ribs being basted. My side table opens up to a big hole. I can't find what goes in there or where to get it

Nice grill but poor quality parts made assembly very difficult. Great features, especially the starter on each burner.

I am truly enjoying my new Weber Grill. This is the fifth Weber Gas grill I have owned since 1994. In many ways this is the best one yet even though I stepped down to a Spirit after having Genesis Grills for over 23 years. The only thing that I am unhappy about is the the Snap-Jet ignition. It concerns me that on a brand new grill it does not consistently light each burner when I use it. The far left burner igniter only works about 1 out of 3 times and that is the one you start the process with.

several panels were found to be dented or banged up when unpacked. still usable but not really the point for a $1000 grill.
