I never owned a gas grill, always been a charcoal gal myself. So, I was a bit intimidated when I received the Charbroil Performance Series FlavorMax 5 to review. Now, this bad boy took a minute to assemble, LOL! However, I was impressed with the quality and durability of the grill components! Generous burner sizes and ample prep space on my Charbroil Performance Series FlavorMax 5 helped to ease my cooking abilities on a gas grill. I now get why there are gas grill lovers out there. It's the ease and convenience of grilling delicious food that satisfies.

Been using this grill for a few weeks now and we absolutely love it!! We have never had a propane grill before so it was a new experience but it has been fantastic! Super easy to use and easy clean up after! The cooking space is huge and assembly only took about 30-ish minutes give or take!

Just exactly what we needed in our shop. We have this grill in our shop and it is an easy way to make burgers and get warm food for lunch. Easy to use and clean. Aesthetically it looks really nice with the blackout color, feels sturdy and easy to move around.

So many things- love the blackout color!! The burners are generous, love that there's a side burner for … sides … great large wheels for moving around.

This grill showed up just in time for summer and barbecue season! We love how easy it was to set up and how straightforward it is to use. It's great for barbeque beginners and grill pros alike. The temperature settings are easy to control once we got accustomed to them. There is a large amount of space on the grill, enough to cook burgers or steak for the entire family and guests. It's great for grilling both meats and veggies, and cooks evenly and efficiently. We personally don't have much use for the side burner, but I can see it coming in handy if someone wants to cook their entire spread on the grill. The wheels also make it easy to move around and we don't find it overly heavy or clunky. Overall we are big fans and love how it cooks our food!

Assembly was straight forward, definitely easier than a lot of grills I've put together over the years. So far, it's been holding up well, pretty durable for a grill at its price point. The ceramic coated parts on the inside make it easy to clean which is great. I used an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature across the grill, and it's reasonably consistent for this style of grill. It gets hot enough to get a good sear on a thick ribeye. Overall I'm very happy with it

I received this from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. Overall I have been very happy with this grill. Assembly took my husband and I a little over an hour. We did have to drill a hole, but it wasn't a huge issue. I like that it is on wheels so I can easily move it around the patio and relocate it during the winter. The cabinet area has a decent amount of space and I am able to store tools and smaller things like oil or skewers that I use frequently when grilling. I was also impressed by how easily ignition is. You simply turn the knob to the flame, press the button and you're ready to go. The grates seemed to heat quickly and evenly and there was plenty of room to cook burgers for 8 people. The side burner is a great addition and allowed me to sauté some zucchini without having to run in and out of the house. So far this grill is great! It is great looking, easy to use and cooks very well. I look forward to using it all summer and I think it would be a great addition to any home.

I received this Performance Series FlavorMax 5 burner gas grill with cabinet and side burner from Char-Broil and Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. Assembly wise, plan on roughly two hours as there are a lot of parts. The door brace holes and flange weren't exactly as depicted (or needed). Unfortunately I kept getting booted out of the customer service chat so the hubby drilled new holes and on it went. All assembled, it works really well. Easy to light and start cooking (much faster than waiting for charcoal to heat). It provides an even, consistent cook and holds temp well. It has a large cast iron cooking surface, warming rack and side burner. The side burner is a nice touch. Saute veggies, brew a kettle or simply use it as extra counterpace when not in use while you grill. It does a little bit of everything so cooking for the whole crew is super easy. Based on the materials and construction, we give it 5+ years of cooks depending on how often you use it and how you care for it (cleaning cast iron takes extra TLC, where you store it, if you cover it, etc).
