I've used Weber kettle grills and other brands pellet smokers before and was excited to try the quality of a Weber grill with the convenience of a pellet grill. This grill does not disappoint! The high temp sear is just barely hot enough, but it is surprisingly consistent across the whole grill and the wood-fired taste of that sear is great. I've done everything from grilled steak and chicken to whole salmon fillets to low-and-slow pork butts and this grill does them all well.
I am extremely impressed with the Searwoods ability to grill more like a traditional propane grill reaching higher temperatures while also putting off far more smoke when I want to cook low and slow. I get far more smoke at lower temperatures than I did with my previous pellet smoker.
Very happy with set up and use. Good for smoking low and high grilling. Glad I bought this model.
Pretty amazing. Ive had a charcoal grill forever. I was thinking of buying a new gas grill at first until i came across this. It gives the best of both worlds. Gas is easy to use but you dont get the flavor. I considered a pellet grill, but didnt see many that could sear or grill like a charcosl grill. And after watching a lot of reviews on youtube, this was the standout pellet grill. It does both and even more like rotisserie and griddle options. So i pulled the trigger and bought it. Im glad i did. I don't have to tend a charcoal grill like when i cook ribs and mess with adding charcoal or trying to keep the temperature at a certain temp. This pellet grill does that for me. Ive only used it a few times to grill and once with the griddle. So far, it has been a pleasure to use. No problems at all. The rate of use of pellets is efficient too. You also have the option to use charcoal pellets and different flavor wood pellets. The only option I wish Weber would make standard is the side shelf. There is an optional front shelf which i could do with our without, but the side shelf should some with the grill. I purchased the side shelf because it is someyhing i liked to have for the extra work area. Im happy with this Searwood 600. I highly recommend it.
So far so good. I bought a few weeks ago and due to weather I have used twice to grill not smoke. The grilling product is very tasty as it has a smoky flavor. I am very happy so far. I am waiting for weather to get a little better so to smoke some meats.
Love my Searwood! Heats as advertised from 160 to 600 degrees. This replaced my Costco Traeger which was 2.5x the price of the Searwood. So far, it's worked flawlessly! Looking forward to smoking some ribs soon…
I am very happy with my Searwood grill. I have owned many pellet grills in the past and this grill really does sear meat better than any pellet grill on the market. Very simple to use, and the clean-up of this grill is super easy. I really like how the grill heats up so fast and also cools down fast.
This is a great smoker, first and foremost. I have been pleased with everything that has come off this grill since I got it. It is easy to use and performs great. When I decided to go with the Weber Searwood, a couple of my selling points were being able to turn on the grill from the app and having the fuel gauge, so I knew when to refill the hopper when doing those really long smokes. I should have researched a little better. The Weber app does not allow you to start the grill from the app for safety reasons, but the 600 model doesn't come with the fuel gauge, which was really disappointing. It's certainly not the end of the world. However, it would have been nice for Weber to have made this clearer; not all the features are available for the 600 model that the XL has. So, from me to you, if this is a must-featured, think about whether it is worth the extra money to get it on the XL model. I still recommend this smoker to anyone.
I've replaced my propane grill with this one about a year ago and couldn't be happier. It's easy to clean and care for. I have cooked just about everything on it and feel like a pro even though I'm new to smoking.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
