I have owned probably 4 Weber propane and 2 Weber kettles. This grill is a testament of Weber at its best and I think this will be, The last one... perfection!!!
A great smoker at this price point. And, Weber knocked it out of the park on the style. There are only a few minor things that could be addressed to make this an amazing pellet smoker. Things tend to get a bit dry during cooks. It would be great to have some sort of integrated water troughs to help provide even better BBQ. Casters on the side opposite wheels would have been a nice touch. Finally, include two probes, instead of just one.

I received my Searwood 600 within the past 2 months. I have to say, I am beyond pleased with everything that I have put it through so far! I have done long smokes (briskets, whole turkey, and butts), grilling (burgers, brats, smoked sausages, shrimp, etc...), pizzas, roasting (spatchcocked chicken, and reverse-searing (steaks). All have been superb! I also have the Weber craft cooking system with the pizza stone and sear grate. I would definitely recommend the Searwood 600 for a family. If you are going to be cooking for a larger group of people on a regular basis I would suggest going with the XL model as space is limited.

Before buying, I studied the topic of pellet grills for a long time. I wanted to buy a tandoor, since I owned one before, but the price stopped me, it was about 3 thousand dollars. Pellet grills are also expensive. But a new model Weber Searwood appeared and I decided to try and did not regret it. My first dish was brisket and it turned out great. In the first month I also made reverse-roasted steak, chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder, trout - everything turned out great. It does not matter whether you are a beginner or not, your grill will do everything perfectly!

The best! Gets to 600 in 15 min. Fully controllable via app except for turning on, have to manually do that. Who knew you could cook almost every normal meet, burgers, steak, pork, fish at 550 and then it comes out amazing! Love the smart recipes.
Have had quite a few pellet smoker/grills and this one is by far my favorite. Wish it came with front and side shelf though. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.

This is my first pellet grill. I decided to go with Weber because of past experience with their great customer service. This grill doesn't disappoint. It heats up fast and maintains temp very well. I've done multiple cooks in the past month of I've had it, they all turned out great. The only gripe I have is that it tends to dry out meat a little. I would suggest using a water pan when cooking to keep the moisture up. I am confused as to why Weber has all these great accessories (water tray) on their site but none of them are available. I have used this as a smoker and cranked up the heat to sear a tri-tip, which worked great. Definitely invest in the rotisserie for some great chicken. With the searing capability and extra accessories you can convert this into multiple grills. Build quality is solid and I look forward to using this grill for a while.

The Searwood does not maintain temperature set. It has error E18 multiple times during long smokes. Temperature dropped as much as 60 degrees without lid being opened. I disassembled the motor and auger by Webers request and there were no clogs or debris issues. This did not resolve the issue. Their customer support is 5 stars. They were very informative and respectful. In the end they said that those temperature fluctuations was within their parameters as long as it didn't drop 100 degrees.

I've had pellet grills for quite a few years now (you know, the one that begins with a "T") but have never been totally satisfied with them. Not enough smoke flavor, dealing with a drip trays that warp after a few uses, covers that rip after a couple of years, not enough heat to sear properly, less than ideal smoke rings and flavor were all issues that caused me to look elsewhere. After a lot of research, I settled on the Weber Searwood 600. To say I'm pleased is an understatement! All of the things that caused me to look elsewhere have been resolved with the Searwood and then some. The amount of ash the grill generates is much smaller. It's easier to clean. The accessories like the rotisserie are game changers. I get the grill marks and sear that I only dreamed about. Smoke rings are perfect as is the smoke flavor. Gone are the days of wandering temperatures as the Searwood controller is steady as a rock. Needless to say, I am very happy with this purchase.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
