This is, unfortunately, my third pellet grill. I've never had one last more than 2 years. It's too early to comment on this grill's longevity, BUT it seems to be well made, and the components are pretty easy to access. I hope that means that if I lose a fan or other part that I can replace it easily. I have done a couple of smokes with it and so far it has been really excellent. Comes up to temperature quickly and holds it well even at my windy Colorado home. Seems to be pretty economical with pellet use too, relative to others that I've owned. I'll really know more in a couple of years, but so far so good!

I was looking for an inexpensive pellet grill for just the 2 of us. I had been looking at the several options and found that the searwood had the best features at a very reasonable price. I also like the feature that allows you to use it as a grill with the lid being open. We have cooked on it a few times so far and it has worked perfectly. The food comes out fine for us, but we're not serious smokers. I do recommend this if you're looking for a versatile pellet/grill. The price was good.
Great grill! Does it all. Grill, smoke, sear and you can add a griddle. Holds temp and very accurate. This Searwood is a home run.
Love the versatility and rock solid temperature control.
I have mixed opinions about my Searwood, but its wild temperature swings prevent me from giving it an overall positive review. Setup was pretty straightforward, except one of the screw holes was drilled improperly and just won't take a screw, so I had to jerry-rig it a bit. Otherwise got up and running pretty quickly, and the controller and app are very user friendly. I have no prior experience with pellet grills, but my expectation was that temperatures would fluctuate +/- 25 degrees or so as the controller adjusts to readings from the sensor and stops/starts feeding pellets into the firebox. In reality I'm seeing fluctuations sometimes as high as +/- 100 degrees or more, with seemingly no rhyme or reason. That's while keeping the lid closed, cleaning the temp sensor before each cook, and as measured by a ThermoWorks probe placed right next to the Searwood's sensor. I just don't get it. For example, on my last cook after briefly smoking wings at low temperature, I set the controller to 400F and the actual temperature spiked to 540F before dropping down to 340F and then bouncing around at smaller intervals. I really thought I'd be getting much greater precision with this grill, so it's pretty disappointing. That said, the wings were still pretty tasty. :)

Amazing machine that can do it all. Have done pork butt, rotisserie wings and steaks. All incredible
I've been waiting for a grill that could do it all. I bought the Searwood 600 hoping it would be the "one". And, let me tell you, it has not disappointed. Although I have only had it a few weeks, I have used it "low and slow" for ribs, "manual grill mode" for steaks, and the griddle accessory for smash burgers. I am very, very impressed with the versatility and, of course, the quality of this grill. Cleaning it is also very easy and not time consuming. I look forward to cooking with this grill for many years. And I got my eye on the rotisserie accessory for even more cook options. Great job Weber!

After many months of researching for the best pellet grill for our family, I decided on the Weber Searwood 600 for its 20# pellet hopper, 600F high heat searing, SmokeBoost feature, build quality with double wall construction, and WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity. In its first 3 weeks of use, I smoked an 8# brisket and was somewhat disappointed with the results. After smoking the brisket for 3 hours on Smoke Boost and regularly spraying a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar on it, then wrapping it in butcher paper, I continued slow roasting it at 225F for another 5 hours to 205F. The smoke flavor was excellent, but the meat was slightly dry and not very tender. I'll try it again and wait for the meat to fully cook and not rely on the meat's temperature. Despite setting the manual heat setting to 10, the burgers and brats did not show grill marks as well as I expected even though the temperature reading indicated 660F. I also baked brisket stuffed poblanos for 30 minutes at 300F that were delicious, but the poblanos were still somewhat firm, so I need to cook it longer. I think there is definitely a learning curve when switching from a Weber Genesis gas grill to a pellet grill, or maybe the temperature probes need calibration. Either way I'll make the necessary adjustments since I'm determined to make this work well and have my food taste great!
Been researching Pellet grills for almost two years. Watched numerous YouTube videos of what company or grill to go with. Came across @TBH-Grillin on YouTube. Those videos helped me with my decision. Their breakdown of the Weber searwood was what sold me. My family and I aren't ones for so much smoke flavor. We like it, but not a ton. So the option of not only being able to grill and cook on this thing plus rotisserie was why we bought it. With that being said, this doesn't mean that the Searwood doesn't smoke your food because it gives it great smoke flavor. But I wanted more than just a smoker at an affordable price. There is so much positive things to say about this grill that the only way to discover those things, is to buy it yourself! You will not regret it. One downfall for me is wish it had caster wheels.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
