Absolutely LOVE this grill. So easy to use and it cooks food perfectly. The app is easy to use and tells you exactly what to do. Cleaning it is very easy. Best pellet grill out there.
The grill itself is fine. A little finicky when it comes to holding temp but manageable. However the coating on the lid began to crack and flake, exposing the brassy metal underneath. When I contacted Weber regarding the issue, they told me that their grills are not coated with anything which does not make sense. How else would it be black? So I sent photos explaining that the metal was now exposed as the coating was coming off. I was told once again that this was a normal thing so I complained a third time with more photos after I had scrubbed it. I was told I would be receiving a new lid in the mail within the week. That was weeks ago. Still no lid. still flaking coating. Unable to use the grill.
I love it over my Traeger. Works very very well, I did a ton of research and I'm thrilled with my purchase.
Everything I cook on the Starwood comes out awesome. Smoked ribs, steaks, chicken, burgers, brats! Everything is awesome. One negative, there is a cooler spot at the left rear when cooking. That said, I would buy this grill again in a heartbeat.
Returned a competitor's grille because it failed to connect to my WiFi. Decided to buy the Weber Searood 600 and it was the BEST decision ever. I have smoked over 20 lbs of Pork Belly and Pork Butt without a single issue. This Searwood 600 is by far the Best choice for a pellet smoker. Thanks, Weber, for making my family want more and more smoked foods.
I have used this for a couple of cooks and so far it has performed exceptionally well. It is a huge improvement over the Gen 1 Smokefire that I finally kicked to the curb, literally. I hope this one performs as expected.
Very poorly made pellet grill with very inconsistent temperature control. I had it set on 275 degrees and it spiked up to 630 degrees and almost caught my house on fire as the fire box was glowing red hot. After that the finish flaked right off. Thank God I was home! Unit was replaced by Weber but I afraid to leave it unattended. I guess I need to figure out If I am going to give it away or haul to the dump still in the box. 0 out of 5 stars for me. I am a 3rd generation weber grill man, and this is sad to say the least. I will stick to my Weber Smokey Mountain and Weber kettles that I have 5 of.
I got the Searwood specifically to replace my old masterbuilt smoker and a month in I'm impressed it. I've primarily used this for smoking (still using my Weber Genesis and Weber kettle for gas/charcoal grilling) I watched several reviews of the unit all of the reviewers hit on the same notes: really easy to use, easy to clean, modular, excellent tech (love the USB-C connectivity for the control unit). I've smoked rib, wings, sausages and finally the big test, brisket and all exceeded my expectations. The only minor issues I've noticed so far (and they are super minor) are: 1) wish we could remote start the unit from the app 2) would have liked to had 360 degree wheeled casters on all 4 legs 3) there is some fit/finish issues when I was assembling my grill (some of the screws won't fit flush) Overall, very satisfied with my purchase and am happy with it.
So far the grill has performed as I hoped it would. It heats up as advertised, reached high temps and still is able to smoke at lower temperatures. The app is easy to use and controls the grill effectively. So far I have smoked salmon, cooked steaks and smoked a tri tip.
The temperature controller in the Seawood frequently loses its mind. I'll have it set for a low and slow cook and it'll run the temperature to 400. Sometimes I have to play with a controller turning the temperature up and down many times over a half an hour to get the thing to settle in close to the temperature that I was hoping to achieve

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
