I just purchased the 36" slate griddle and I gotta say this was the easiest piece of equipment that I put together. It was well thought out and everything lined up perfectly. Very helpful that there were no missing parts. 45 minutes after assembly I was cooking. Plenty of cooking surface and cleanup was a breeze. Hope to get a lot of use this summer. Now to explore some recipes.

I've always been a fan of Weber products. We purchased a natural gas Weber Slate 36 inch. Unfortunately, day, one of being outside the wind blew off the stainless steel side shelf inserts. Weber kindly replaced one that was dinged, but clearly there is a design flaw. I don't believe these panels should have to be weighted down or have the cover on to keep them from blowing off the grill. The next issue is once we hooked it up to natural gas and fired it up for the first time, the burners would not stay fully lit and have a very inconsistent and turbulent flame. The gas pressure in my house is 7 inches of water - I called the gas company to check my gas pressure. This grill per the manual is designed to use 4 inches of water gas pressure. Oddly the slate 30 inch is designed to use 7 inches of water gas pressure per the manual. I contacted customer service and they told me that my gas line hook up was incorrect because I did not use a piece of 3/8 iron pipe between the shut off and the quick connect. I reworked the connection per their instruction and still have the same issue. For some reason they believe that the 3/8 pipe and the quick connect will regulate the pressure enough, clearly the grill needs a pressure regulator or needs it's jets changed/adjusted.

Great unit, just struggle with the grilling surface and non stick. Follow directions from Weber and You Tube, but hit and miss. Lots of great features with flip up table and ability to have a cutting board built into the side table.

We purchased the Weber Slate towards the end of June 2024. We used it regularly until the colder months arrived and put it away in a climate controlled Garage. When we started to put out our Patio furniture along with the Weber Slate a week ago We opened the lid to several rust spots on the Griddle surface. We contacted the selling appliance store which made contact with Weber and they said that the griddle was not properly oiled and therefore would not be considered as a warranty issue Weber said it would clean off. It so far has not cleaned off as suggested. You can see from the pictures included that we oil after each use as suggested and Weber's claim to be Rust Resistant is not true as is in this case. I have left a message with Weber to return my call to resolve this issue and if resolved to my satisfaction I will update the review concerning the quality control issue with the griddle surface.

Easy to assemble, and sturdy. Fairly even heat distribution. Surface is already seasoned, but added one more layer with tallow. Smash burgers were easier to cook and with a more predictable outcome than on any previous grill or pan that I have used. Love the large surface for variable cooking temps; eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes all cooked on the same surface more or less simultaneously.

I bought the original griddle and did not give a very good rating due to lack of any thought put into shelving or accessories. I have been a loyal Weber user for many years. Weber came back strong with the new line up of slate griddle, which I bought and sold the 1st version. Many extras and thought put into the new model, cleans easily and of course has the Weber quality !! Thank you for showing why you are a leader in all things grilling!

We are new to the world of outdoor griddling. We started the search for the perfect griddle thinking we'd end up with the most popular brand on the market. So happy we didn't! After reading reviews, watching hours of videos, etc. we made the decision to spend a bit more and go with a name we've always trusted (just happens to be our last name too!) for grills and we were not disappointed! This thing cooks like a charm! Easy to control heat, super easy cleaning and a sleek looking piece of equipment! Love it! Can't say nicer things about it.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
