Bought the 36" griddle back in early June, and couldn't be happier. Easy to put together and great quality. I did have an issue with the griddle top being a bit warped. However, after contacting Weber support, they sent out a new one and the issue was resolved. Thanks a million! I have no regrets with my purchase. This baby gets HOT!

Love the flexibility the griddle offers vs. the traditional grill. The griddle allows us to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our first thing to cook was smash burgers which are now a family favorite. We have also made stir fry, pancakes and bacon and eggs. The construction seems to be solid, easy to move around and nice finish. My only issue and reason for a 4 star is within 2 days, the electronic temperature gauge on the front of the unit was full of condensation and I could no longer see what the reading was. There is definitely an issue that would allow that happen within 48 hours after taking delivery.

This purchase was better than I could have expected...I looked at many reviews prior and selected this one. Even heating, high BTU, wind resistant, cooking surface ready to go, and in the end, as a first time outdoor griddle, worked like a champ

Although I had a not so good experience with the delivery of my griddle, once that was straightened out, I am very pleased with the product. Due to the shipping errors, the Weber customer service rep was very attentive to my concerns and worked hard to make me a satisfied customer.

I purchased the Slate Griddle for my husband for Father's Day. He has been researching griddles for some time and decided the Slate was the one he wanted based on the shelving space and rust resistance. It took the two of us a few hours to put together but it was fairly easy to assemble. The directions were pictures only without text which was a tad tricky at times but there are numerous helpful videos from different online sources, however we did not end up needing them. We both were very pleasantly surprised with how sturdy the shelves are and how easy the griddle rolls on the wheels which also lock in place. We purchased some of the accessories Weber offers and plan on purchasing more in the future. Everything is the excellent quality we have come to expect from Weber. My husband has used the new griddle 5 times so far and he is thrilled with how it cooks and I am thrilled with having a break from cooking! His only complaint with the griddle has been that the temperature gauge does not seem to be accurate however he has overcome this with a laser gauge. He knew the included temperature gauge was not to be trusted as he had read lots of reviews that said this was the case and we can confirm this is true. That being said, this in no way should take away from anyone purchasing this awesome griddle. We are thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend this griddle over its competitors. Weber products are simply the best and worth any extra you may pay for the quality and reassurance that they will last.

I bought this for my husband as a fathers day gift and he loved it ,not only him but the guest we had over when he used it on the 4th of July. In my husbands words what a beauty it heats up fast and works great.

My wife and I love this griddle grill. While we do like it, there are some things we were not prepared for, such as not being able to close the lid when the griddle is hot. Maybe this is normal for all griddle grills, but we were not aware of this. Leaving the grill unattended while getting supplies and such is now harder. We have kids and being able to close the lid is something that would have been nice. The other item that I was not aware of is the space needed for the lid to be in the open position. For the price of the grill these items should have been more thought out.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
