I really like this grill I also have a pellet grill but the Weber is really good if you have something that you want to cook quickly. Overall the construction and materials are very good. The little tables on the the side are flimsy and I just removed them early on.
Great grill, even heat distribution and love the center burner for searing.
Very short hose. Must also purchase the cart for in order to use in different environments.
I upgraded from my 20+/- year old Model 1200, which I loved. I wanted a little bigger cooking surface. We grill 2-3 time a week. VERY HAPPY with the move and it's RED
I liked my old Weber grill better. The side shelves folded up, the ones on this grill I have to remove because they don't fold up. I also liked my old grill grate better. It was the same design for the whole grill. This one is half like my old one and the other half, well after several months I still don't understand what the reasoning is for the difference.
This is the perfect size grill for a couple with a small yard or patio. It heats up to over 700 degrees and heats up quick. The plus burner makes a big difference. I had read some negative remarks about the side shelf, however I have found them very sturdy.
I have owned several Webbers over the years. Mostly charcoal. Still have a big 36 inch. We're spending a lot of time in a fifth wheel RV these days. So I bought the 2800 for its compact yet high heat capability. It does not disappoint. It sears steaks beautifully. The first time I used it I did not have the regulator in the correct orientation and could not get it to temperature. Once I figured that out, the grill works superbly.
After 5 or so startups the center burner only lit up half way. I had to blow in the direction of the flame to get the rest of the burner to ignite. Now only a 1/4 of the burner ignites. Still love the way it cooks.
I was sceptical at first that such a small barbeque could perform like a big one, but the features that has the cast-iron grills the way that it's assembled is easy and it's very sturdy once it's together I love the stand and the way that it rolls around the deck, heats up extremely fast Does a beautiful job on steaks and all of my other barbecuing items. I use a smoker box with it as well inside and that helps add flavour to so many things. It seems to be easy to clean so far the only downside is the racks that are on the side. I'm not sure that I'm completely convinced. It's the best design for them so far overall I would give it five stars thank you.
This Weber Grill has replaced our 30+year old Weber Grill. Since we got so much use out of our original Weber purchase, there wasn't any doubt about buying another Weber. This new one will probably outlive us!!! Our new grill lights up even easier than our previous Weber, but everything else is just what we were used to - a dependable grill that cooks great!!! AND THAT'S WHY WE BOUGHT ANOTHER WEBER!!!
Questions & Answers
Hi BOB. While any of the Weber brushes would work, you might want to consider this one from GrillPro - It uses a coil and has no bristles that can detach: https://www.bbqguys.com/i/3196817/grillpro/triple-coil-wide-head-grill-brush
Asked by BOB | Answered by WesleyHi Chad. Because regulator pressures vary across RV connections, we'd suggest checking with an RV dealer for compatible portable grills. Weber does make a version of the Q grills specifically for recreational vehicles.
Asked by Chad | Answered by WesleyHi Charles. The Weber Q2800N+ uses a standard 20-pound propane tank.
Asked by Charles | Answered by WesleyHi Barbie. Weber sells the covers separately for the Q2800 grills.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
