I turn my samsung tv on with the samsung remote but the speaker, which is plugged in to the TV via hdmi cable does not power on with the TV. I have to turn the TV off and turn it on again a second time before the speaker powers on

Hi Jeffrey57, We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-S50B Soundbar. You may want to try using a HDMI-ARC connection to the TV. When the TV turns ON, it will send a command to turn on the Soundbar and forces the source on the Soundbar to change to HDMI-ARC. This would make the Soundbar change the source from the prior state it was in. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. The 590C OLED 4K TV is mind blowing when it comes to the clarity of the screen. Every scene-whether it's a nature documentary, a fast-paced action movie, or a 4k Video game - is razor-sharp with vibrant detail. Motion is incredibly smooth, and upscaling from HD content looks surprisingly good too.

Very disappointed in the sound quality. I know I shouldn't have expected it to sound great being the bottom of the line but I did expect it to sound better than the Samsung TV speakers. I need to take a loss unfortunately and purchase a better soundbar

I've been using the Samsung 5 Series 3.0ch All-in-One Soundbar for a few weeks now and I'm very impressed. The Dolby 5.1 and DTS Virtual:X features really enhance the clarity and depth of sound, making TV shows and movies much more immersive. Dialogue is crisp, and the virtual surround effect makes a noticeable difference, even without rear speakers. I especially like how compact and stylish the unit is—it blends well with my setup and doesn't require much space. It's also very easy to set up and use, even for someone who isn't super tech-savvy. I mainly use it for streaming shows and movies, and it performs well every time.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
