I really really wanted to love this tv since it's the first time we've upgraded in many years. Coming from a Samsung Plasma from 2012 the picture quality is outstanding...it's just too bad the clunky Tizen OS is a buzz kill. We have our tv in the great room over the fireplace and is connected through new home pre-wire into an AV closet along with the receiver and other peripherals. We're still currently on satellite Directv but also stream and have the 4K Max Firestick connected directly to the tv rather than the receiver until the AV comapny can get out to reprogram our universal remote and tweak some settings. The interface to bounce between sources is janky and slow as is the tv on start up. However once it's up and running the picture is gorgeous. If I'd known of the problems with the Tizen OS to the degree they are prevalent I'd probably have gone with a LG OLED instead...

I looked for a 55 inch television for a long time. Finally had to choose between a Samsung and an LG. Decided on the Samsung because of the speakers. I made the right choice. I use sound bars on my other televisions. I have a Bose sound bar on my 75 inch television. The speakers on this television sound about as good as that sound bar. Very pleased with my purchase
Love my TV! Super clear! I enjoy watching my favorite shows.
I bought this because the price was good, but the tv functionality is less than I hoped. Picture and sound are fine, but using smart features, things respond slowly or not at all, certain apps take forever to work, and we've had to reboot it twice. AirPlay from an iPhone results in picture only - no audio, and customer service was unable to help. They said I should report it to Apple. All in all, it's just ok.

Hi Notagearguy, We appreciate your feedback on the CU7000 TV. I have a few recommendations that may resolve the issues you are experiencing with a slow operating system and non-functional Airplay. First, to ensure performance is fully optimized, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. You can easily update from there if necessary. Please also ensure you Apple device is also updated to the latest Firmware available. Next, I recommend utilizing the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care. To enable Apple Airplay: 1. Go to Settings > Connection > Network Settings. 2. Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on, and then connect to your home network. 3. Ensure that your iPhone is operating on the same network that the TV is on. If that does not fix the issue, you may need to reset your TV's Smart Hub: 1. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis. 2. Select Reset Smart Hub. If you continue to have issues, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Overall happy with the tv. Picture is very good. Software is a little wonky at times. Just plan on a sound bar as sound is tinny in large room. Disappointed it does not have the art frame option as it says online. Seems like this membership club model got that feature nixed. I get a lot of compliments on the beautiful picture the tv has. This is my first Samsung tv in 20 years and I'm happy I chose this one. Let's hope it lasts longer than my last one which made 18 months.
This is a terrible tv. I can't get it to connect via LAN. It keeps disconnecting and connecting. It also keeps disconnecting and connecting my sound bar. I have also tried to pair other remotes and controllers on this tv. Some work and some do not. Additionally, I am now having issues with the remote. I have spoken to Samsung support and their only remedy to is to order a new remote for an additional fee via Samsung Parts. I am highly disappointed with this tv and very much regret buying it.

ATrain, Thank you for sharing your experience. If your Frame TV has difficulties connecting to the internet, please try the following troubleshooting steps: 1) Check the network and the status of your access point. 2) On the remote control, press the button and move to Settings using the directional button. 3) Select Menu > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Network Status to check the network status. 4) If the network isn't connected, a network reset may be required. 5) Make sure that your access point is working properly. Check the LED indicators on your access point to make sure it is operating normally. 6) If you are using a wireless access point, check the access point location. If the access point is too far from the TV, move it closer. 7) Try rebooting the access point by disconnecting and reconnecting the power connector. It may take 1 to 2 minutes until the access point comes back online after a reboot. 8) If the same problem continues, select Menu > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Network Status > IP Settings to change to a different DNS server. If a test occurs, cancel it and select IP Settings. 9) Select DNS Setting Enter manually. 10) Select DNS Server, enter 8.8.8.8, then select OK. 11) If the same problem continues, a software update or factory reset may be required. For optimal performance, please also make sure that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. like the picture which has good viewing angles. and great color. built in speakers do a decent job. remote is user friendly and compact but wish it was easier to scroll through tv program guide one channel at a time rather than jumping multiple channels at a time which is a bit disorienting. overall though, it's a great tv for a really good price.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
