Great electric grill and griddle. You can count on food to taste great being cooked on this. Way better than the indoor George Foreman Grills I used to use. Proof that electric grills can be great. Be prepared to clean this thing and unbolt the burner for cleaning after every use though!

I finally gave up the gas grill because the tanks were too difficult to remove and replace. Husband loves a Pittsburgh rare steak and had my concerns with an electric grill. To my surprise and delight the Lumin delivered a beautiful, rare, steak that was every bit as good as one cooked on a gas grill. Kudos!

So easy and the perfect size for me and my husband to use. We have a Weber charcoal grill that we use when we have people over but it's cumbersome to use for just the two of us. This compact electric grill is great. During the heat of the summer I don't want to use any appliances inside so I plan meals that can be cooked on the Lumin outside. We haven't tried to add wood chips yet for the smoker option but I'm sure we will before summer is over.

first electric grill......have owned many Weber gas grills.....electric is good as its a townhouse requirement by the commercial insurance company.

Great grill! We've made pizza, kabobs, burgers, hot dogs, steaks, chicken and veggies. I looked for an electric grill for a long time. Glad I waited to find this one.

Heats up nicely and to a high temp. Food gets nice grill marks and has a grilled taste. Temperature control works well. Food cooks evenly.

We have the compact model and it works just fine for us while we travel around in our camper. It takes longer to heat up than I would have thought, but does get up to 600 degrees. It grills up burgers and steaks just fine ,but there is a learning curve from a gas charcoal grill to this one. It seems well made and may just last a while. The extra pan for wood chips and vegetables is OK ,but way to large and takes up half the grill. I bought a small 2 inch round smoker that works great and takes up way less room. (About the size of a burger) . The grates have some kind of black coating coming off of them after only 3 times use. They do leave good sear marks ,but still when we wash them after, we get these little tiny black pant like particles chipping off. While this is a nice compact travel grill it has much room for improvements. As it is I would not buy it again unless improvements are made or the price drops in half at least.

It is normal for grilling grates to accumulate carbonized grease due to the natural reaction between oil and high heat. Preheating and then scraping the grates with a Weber grill brush will help remove excess buildup. We would like to know more about your experience and offer our assistance. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
