First, I would like to start out by saying the customer service is mostly excellent. I have owned 3 LG smokers. I recently had a claim against my LG Champion smoker (discontinued). It was a beast. 2 weeks before the warranty expired (5 yrs) I called to try and get a new broiler cover as the cover had eroded over time with the high heat and the use of the water pot. The drum had also started to erode. They did a video with me over the phone, saw the damage and sent me a brand new LG1200BL smoker that was equivalent in cost to the Champion I had. I received it in 5 days!!. I used it yesterday and it was great. No issues with it at all and the assembly was cake. However, the only issue I had is the hopper is 18 lb. I smoke a lot of brisket, so that means a lot of babysitting the pellets. The other issue is with my old smoker I had purchased several covers over the years as they're covers tend to rip when you take them off and on. The SL1000 I have came with a cover and I assumed this LG1200BL would as well since it is a $1200 smoker. It doesn't and I called and they would not send me one. I don't want to look at gift-horse in the mouth; however, it was a product failure on my Champion grill and a replacement was welcomed, but I didn't expect to have to pay $70 for a cover. If they're going to make me whole with a new smoker, it should be the whole package that I am made whole.

While I haven't began cooking/smoking yet with my new vertical smoker, I spoke to Zach at the 877 number to make sure that the smoker was properly primed. Zach was quite helpful and polite. Somehow, my unit lost the circular button on the control knob. Zach promptly arranged for an entire control board, a part of which is the control knob, to be sent to me.

From ordering to first cook the LG1200 has been a dream. Easy to assemble and get ready for grilling. Also love having the ability to connect via Bluetooth and/or our WiFi. Delivery was through FedEx Freight. They contacted us to set up the delivery window. Grill was delivered on time land in perfect condition.

I bought the 1200 and absolutely love it. Top rack is great for slow cooking filets for full flavor. I've had it for almost a month and tried a variety of meats and some vegetables. Brussels sprouts, salmon, steak, and chicken breasts. Have only use competition blend but going to try hickory and mesquite. Pizza is on the schedule for this week.

This grill is great. Only down side is the android version of the app disconnects a lot and doesn't send the notifications. Also the buttons on the touch screen are finicky. Easy to put together. The sear function is great addition. Best steaks I have had in a long time. Best grill we have owned!!!

I purchased the grill in October 2020 and works fine. Only problem is you have to clean out the burner area of ash frequently (almost after every use) or the burner will become clogged with ash and it will shut down. The WiFi/Bluetooth controller is a quirky but only once in a while ( it seems to have a problem switching back and forth when you leave the unit). I found that only connecting it via WiFi and not Bluetooth solves the problem. I would recommend using an insulting blanket accessory especially in the cold due to excessive pellet use.

Title says it. I purchased a lg 1100 a few years ago that I had some problems with Louisiana stood by there Warranty in did everything in there power to fix it. I will recommend them to anyone. Loving my new black series 1200 !! Thank you again to Louisiana Grills.

Looks really nice! Built solid, shelve is nice little feature that included in the price. The WiFi and App are little glitchy but I know there trying to work the bugs out.

I've bought the 1200 and I couldn't be more happy with it. I was first attracted by the black Sleek Solid design, and when it arrived it was everything I thought it would be and more. I love the sear plate function, the SMOKEIT app making overnight cooks a breeze, the standard front shelf, and the pellet window. Getting a smoker pellet grill has change my view of cooking outdoors and now I cannot cook any other way.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
