Works great! I love it! We have used it at least 10 times and have only had it about a month, maybe a little more. We have used the adapter and hooked it up to a large tank and also used small portable tanks. Both worked great! It tends to cook pretty hot though, I haven't been able to get it to stay on a low heat (200-300) usually gets up to at least 350 or 400 on the lowest setting. Maybe because it's a small heated area and there's no air flow to let heat out? I'm not sure but we cook just fine either way. Family of 5 and we've cooked chicken drumsticks, pork chops, hamburgers and hotdogs and ribs multiple times and all have turned out amazing! Also we have taken it with us and it was easy to wheel through grass.

Very nice grill. I like how it can fold down for travel and storage. My only complaint is the awkward place to connect the propane tank. It is underneath and can become cross threaded if you are not extremely careful. I understand the reason it is located where it is but I think it could be a better design. It is very easy to assemble as it comes mostly assembled and I love the ceramic coated grates.

The best portable grill I have used. We spend 4 to 6 months in our motor coach and use our Weber 3 to 5 times a week. I have had other portable grills and nothing compares to our Weber.

I have only used once thus far. Initial installation of propane bottle was not as easy as it should have been. I discovered standing it up on its end while still in transport condition allowed me to install bottle without cross threading bottle. I don't think either was damaged sufficiently because I was able to get it to go all the way in.

It was too difficult to attach the propane tank without stripping the threads on the tank. I had to return the grill. I liked the grill for its style and portability. I bought another Weber grill after returning the Traveler. I bought the Spirit and it works well for me.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that you returned your Traveler grill due to concerns with attaching the propane tank. Since this is a new grill, there is a bit of a learning curve to be expected. We recommend bending down to eye-level with the gas regulator when first attaching the gas tank. This will allow you to get a better view and match the angle of the regulator to easily insert the gas tank. The Traveller grill can also be used with the Weber adapter hose (part 6501) and a full-sized LP tank. Thank you again for your feedback and for being a Weber fan!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
