Just had to replace the regulator now it looks like the burner needs to be replaced. I have been cleaning it with a s/s wire brush but the gas flow isn't enough to get heat up to 400 degrees.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your Weber Traveler Portable gas grill. We are sorry to hear your grill is not heating up. We are happy to help with some troubleshooting suggestions. Are you using your grill with a disposable canister, or are you using it with a standard size propane tank? If you’re using the grill with a standard size tank you might have tripped a safety device built into the hose. The safety device is designed to detect gas leaks, so the first thing to do is test your grill for any gas leaks. If you have a leak, do not use the grill! You can trick the safety into thinking there is a gas leak if you don’t light the grill properly. When it believes there is a gas leak, the gas flow to the grill is cut down to 10%. The grill won’t be able to get up to normal grilling temperatures. When a grill is in this situation, we say it’s in “bypass”. To get the grill out of bypass, please use the following instructions for lighting the grill. These same instructions will also get a grill out of bypass. · Make sure the control knob is in the off position. · Open the grill lid. · Open the valve on the propane tank all the way, and then wait for about 60 seconds. · Turn the control knob to START/HIGH and press the igniter button. · Once the burner is lit, close the lid and in 10 to 15 minutes the grill should reach 500 to 550F. · Always make sure to turn the control knob to OFF after you are done using the grill. If these instructions do not help, we recommend trying a disposable canister. If the grill works normally with the disposable canister then the hose will need to be replaced. If it does NOT work with the disposable canister, then the valve/regulator will need to be replaced. Our Care team will reach out to follow up. Please look for our outreach soon. Thank you!

Nothing on this grill works properly and is a cheap piece of garbage. Going to end up giving this away and going with a competitors product.

Please look for an email outreach from our Care team soon. Thank you.
Well made grill perfect for tailgating. Well thought out features shush as grill lid lock when folded. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is the propane bottle can be hard to thread onto the valve without risking cross threading. Grill cover is also great for protecting my rear cargo area. Cover opens flat to lay the folded grill onto including covering the dirty wheels and then zips closed with sturdy zippers well placed.

The grill is very easy for me to set up and to collapse. I have had no issues getting the grill to light. Heats up well, and easy to clean. I have cooked steaks and hamburgers in it. Very pleased with this grill.

Simply fantastic! Everyone loved it. Bigger grilling area that you think. Easy and so portable. I see getting a few years out of this for sure!

We love its convenient storage and ease of use. Heats evenly and is the perfect grill for 2 people
Just purchased the traveler to replace my older, rusty gas grill. It fits well on my deck and is easily portable. I have followed pre-heating instructions, but my chicken and filet steaks are sticking to the grates. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your feedback regarding the Weber Traveler grill. We are so sorry to hear about your food sticking to the grates. We are happy to help provide some suggestions. With regards to food sticking, We have the following recommendations: 1. You can oil the food directly, but we do not recommend applying any kind of oil directly to the grates. You can use our Weber Grill Spray, as that is not oil based. 2. Make sure you're giving your food enough time per side. Food will naturally start to rise off the grates when close to flipping time. 3. If using a marinade, try to get as much excess liquid off as possible before placing the food on the grill. 4. If using a sauce of any kind, wait until the last 5 minutes or so to apply. 5. We recommend cleaning your cooking grates every time you use your grill. Simply preheat the grill on high for 15 minutes with the lid closed and then brush the grates clean with a Weber Stainless Steel Grill Brush. Hopefully, this is helpful. Our Care team will be reaching out to follow up. Thank you!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
